I just got this error after installing the latest version and can't figure out the exact cause. If I click 'ok', the error locks up and won't close without using the task manager to shut it down. I remember reading a post similar to mine where they had their C drive instead of D drive listed in the xml file....that's not my case.
Looking at the xml file it shows:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

</GBPVR>
I'm not geeky enough to figure this out nor really know what to look for.
Thanks for trying to help.
When I set a recording for Kim Possible the other night (not for me!) the recording played back really slowly - such that the theme song sounded like it was being performed in a bad drag show.
Does anyone know what could cause this - hasnt occurred with any other recordings? I initilly though it may have been my EPG download starting - but it ran about 25 mins after the show had started recording.
I use a Winfast PVR2000 and generally have no issues. The video was also slowed down. I tried another recording last night and it was fine.
The file also played back at the slow speed within WMP and BSplayer.
As it's only happened once I'm not too concerned - but want to know what causes it so I can avoid getting slow copies of anything I want to archive.
This is on a fresh install of XP SP-1a, PVR350, no TV-out card installed (yet), no Microsoft updates except dotNET 2.0. Any ideas? Occurs when trying to start 97.07.
This is a fresh install converted over to SQL Lite. I only have the weather plugin installed.
I ran into a problem trying to schedule reoccurring shows. I would select the show to record all seasons, the pending recordings showed the proper data, but the reoccurring recordings had a different title. I looked in the logs and saw a bunch of errors related to the DB being locked. I restarted the service turning on debug logging and tried to reproduce. Of course it worked fine, but once again an error popped up in the logs about the DB being locked.
I'll send you both sets so maybe you can see what seems to be locking, but not releasing the DB.
Also, has anyone noticed that the web interface is allowing access without logging in?
I have been away for a few months. I will try to rectify that in the future. I have been working on a way to share mpegs. I will post that later tonight.
The code is update on source forge I have not updated wiki yet.
here is the config.exe.log file.
When I try to udae epg nothing happens and I get an error message, it can't seem to read the datas in the epg. xmltv for france is used, with latest xmltv realease . Any idea ???

I was wondering if it was possible given that gbpvr now includes a gbpvr.bin to get the MVP to send a wol magic packet to the server when its turned on / cant connect to server.
I dont know if the gbpvr.bin gets a hook into the "contacting servers" stage of the MVP boot so it may well be impossible, but if it can be hooked in at this point I guess you could "patch" each users gbpvr.bin to have the wol ip address built in so it would know where to send the packet.
Im assuming its not possible but it would be nice to not have to walk downstairs to wake the pvr server when I want to watch tv in the bedroom
I realize this is a pretty basic question, but what is the process for updating the drivers? Do I need to uninstall the old drivers before installing the new ones? The drivers show up under programs in the "add or remove programs" in control panel. I can also see them in the device manager, and there are options there to update or uninstall. I also noticed that there is an .exe install package for the newest drivers and beta drivers on the Happauge site - it looks like this runs some hwclr utility that uninstalls old drivers first? I am not sure however what the recommended steps are for updating the drivers. I am also wondering if a reboot is necessary after unistalling old drivers. Can someone please direct me to a link/thread related to the necessary steps for updating the drivers or list the specific steps that need to be followed to update the drivers? I'd also appreciate any recommendations as to what people think is the most current stable set of drivers right now for the PVR-150.
I am currently using the 23258 drivers that came with my PVR-150. I have the incorrect timestamp problem on maybe 20% of my recordings, so I would like to update the driver and do the registry fix in order to correct this problem. Thanks much.
