Well, i finally got gb-pvr set up, and i'm just lightly tweaking stuff. I'm using a pvr-150 card, with an IR blaster going to my motorola digital cable box, i can change channels fine, it's wonderful.
I would like to use the "up" and "down" arrows on my haupauggue remote to scan through the guide before i make channel switches, at the moment, when i use the arrows, it automatically changes the channel.
I assumed the left and right arrows would also allow me to scan through the different time slots on the guide, any help is appreciated and apologies in advance for the newbishness.
The batch file is passed a valid filespec and the variable is set to 1400...
If I remove 'start /low /wait' from the line it runs fine, but with it, there's an error about not recognizing the -y (the first item outside the first closed quotes) which I'm guessing means the 'start /low /wait ' command doesn't see beyond the first closed quotes...
Is there someway to close the whole phrase in quotes or brackets or something?
I have a Hauppauge PVR 150 with remote. Installed drivers and gbpvr. GBPVR config went fine and zap2it listing work. Everytime I try to watch Live TV or view a recorded show I get a Microsoft Vlisual C++ Debug Library error.
It is Debug Assertion Failed!

I have XP Pro SP2 i have updated all of the .NET to 2.0
I have seen people be askedto upload log files. I don't know where they are or how to generate them.
Is there a way I can map a button on my Nova-T USB2 remote to start GBPVR regardless of what's going on on the computer?
Also, is there a way I can map certain buttons to different sections of GBPVR? I've got "TV, Video, Music, Pictures" buttons which I'd like to map to their relevant sections.
I've just installed a newly purchased Nova-T USB2 along with GBPVR, and I must admit I'm extreamily happy with my purchase/download!
One question I have though, is that when changing chanel the program information seems to "drop" off the bottom of the screen regardless of aspect ratio.
I have a PVR-150 running on a PIII 800 512mb Ram with a ATi A9550 Graphics Card. I am using the nVidia Mpeg Decoder but I have also tried the intervideo decoder
My PVR worked perfectly but I had to reload it due to a crashed hard drive. After the reload it records and plays back TV perfectly but if I press pause to go into timeshift mode it hangs. The CPU usage shoots up to 100% and I have to end task. The buffer file is in the buffer directory and it keeps growing until I stop the GBPvr Service.
I've been running GBPVR with a Hauppauge PVR150 successfully for several months. I decided to upgrade to HDTV and installed a DVICO Fusion 5 Lite, so I now have both the PVR150 and the Fusion Lite installed in my system. I set up the Fusion using the steps outlined in http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=5...ostcount=2. I can view the HDTV channels through GBPVR using the "Live TV" button on the main menu by typing in a two digit channel number. I created a second Zap2it account for just the HDTV stations. I left my original Zap2it account for the analog tuner intact. Even after I empty and update the EPG, I can't get the HDTV channels to show up in the TV Guide. The analog channels all appear as normal. Am I doing this right or should I just have one Zap2it account with both the analog and the HDTV channels in it? BTW, I installed the latest version of GBPVR on top of my original version yesterday, but it didn't make any difference.
I have a widescreen LCD and I'm trying to figure out how I can have the OSD (and volume plugin) show up, yet still retain 4:3 resolution for TV. Here's my problem:
To see the OSD and volume meter, I have to use the Cyberlink decoder with the 'EnableVMR9' registry setting. This is fine and all, but when I enable VMR9 for the Cyberlink decoder, the video displays on the whole window (16:9 on my monitor), rather than cutting off the edges. If I turn off VMR9, it retains 4:3 resolution but can't display OSD. I don't like stretched video much.
I have the Nero decoder on my system as well, but I can't get the OSD at all (I assume because VMR9 isn't enabled, and I don't know how to enable it). I really don't care which decoder works if I can find one that will have OSD with 4:3.
Anyone have any idea how to keep 4:3 with VMR enabled?
EDIT: As a note, VMR7 will allow the OSD to show in 4:3 but it's choppy...Quite the conundrum.
I just started having a problem where GB-PVR fails on playback on files randomly. When the failure occurs, I get the error: Cannot play back file. If I try to move on to another file after the error, GB-PVR locks-up. The files themselves appear to be ok. I can play them with other players, and I can play them with GB-PVR after I restart it.
