Hi im running the latest version on windows10 and see 'Version: 5.0.4.200427 (5.0.4.200428 is available for download)' on the settings/about page of the web app, re-downloading and install makes no difference.

I have a bit of a weird problem...
I have been recording 8 out of 10 cats does countdown as a series for some time now. Recently NextPVR stopped recording it as a series but I can select each episode individually and record it without a problem. If I try to select it as a series instead of an individual show it doesn't add it in the web interface but will add it in the app but won't record it. I don't seem to have any problems selecting any other series to record, any suggestions?
I have noted over the last few days that whilst working on my Windows PC that approximately every 10 minutes the tray icon changes from green to red for about 30 seconds.
This may be related to either the current build or inputting the EPG update time to 18.00 .
Years ago I developed a DLL to use with NPVR.
My project references NShared and NUtility.
If I want to make a change to the DLL, must I reference the latest versions of NShared and NUtilty?
It appears as though the versions referenced in my project are much older than the current versions.
Wondering if I am missing any codecs etc. Hope you can help.
I recorded couple of live streams the other day. Each of the recording runs without issues for couple of minutes and then shows a garbled screen, then the recording rewinds and forwards in a quick succession or slows down with garbled audio.. then corrects itself and after a few minutes the same.
there is no problem with the live stream though, but happens every time I record.
is this something you have encountered and had corrected? thanks
Well, I've got NextPVR installed on my Media Computer. I see both cards on the Devices page. With a little bit of experimentation, I've figured out how to use the serial-port control on my DirecTV box, and USBUIRTSend has learned my IR codes and can control my cable box.
One issue...
Since I have two Hauppauge Colossus2 cards in my computer, I need to identify which is which. Hauppauge WinTV shows me the serial # of each card, so I've been able to figure out which card captures from which box. Unfortunately, NextPVR doesn't do this for me. All it shows in the 'Devices' page is two instances of "Hauppauge Colossus Sienna".
Now - I can likely figure out which is which, by setting up one card and changing the settings if I get it wrong... but I was hoping for a less awkward way of doing it.
Is it possible for you to display each card's serial number in the Devices list? If not - if Hauppauge uses some proprietary trick to read the serial number of each card - it's not a big deal... I was just hoping I could make things easier for myself.
Note - while WinTV can *see* both cards, it can only *USE* one of them... so I can't actually see that a video stream is being captured from my cable box. (I'm just assuming it is - since the stream is coming from the DirecTV box perfectly...)
Question - would the card with the lower serial number be displayed first? If so, that would make things easier to figure out.
Running Web App from the Windows Tray App, I noticed:
clicking on Channels then on a channel (or even on TVGuide, then on a show and then on Watch Now or also from the upper right corner of the page) the screen appears gray without transmission and a red warning that says "Browser blocked video playback" but now, clicking right on the page and then on Play, the transmission resurrects.
Likewise, it happens by going to see a recording from the Recording page: same msg, then same as said.
Is Webb App a maintained app? What is the cause?
