Live TV works fine wheb I boot up my PCn but after a while, when I want to start live TV from Kodi ( but same issue in WebApp), I got a NPvrr icon in the task bar turn red and I have a streaming failure message.
It looks like the backend isn't handling 301 redirects, which a provider is now using. I see this in the logs:

Using wget I can see that the link from the m3u is a 301 to another link, which then returns a 302 to the stream.
I use Kodi as Openelec in Raspberry Pi 2 Model B+. I don't have much storage device or NAS so I am 100% dependent on streaming. Is there a way to bring all of the fen's content like movies and tv shows to the movies and tv shows section of home menu of Kodi (Just like how movies on your device and on network devices are normally shown in Kodi). And is there any other skin than Titan Bingie which gives a Netflix look on the kodi. i tried Titan bidgie and it seems that my Rpi 2 can't handle it well?
After moving to v5, I noticed some of the NScriptHelper utility output was in xml format, which was difficult to parse in batch cmd files.
I wrote a small python utility to make several of the calls easier to use in scripts (cmd, bash, ...). Sharing in case anyone else finds it useful...
It is not compatible with Python2, must be Python3
the -h command line switch will display a help page of options (see below)

Would love the ability to set reminders for programmes. This would display a notification a minute or so before a programme started.
Perhaps with the addition of tuning and displaying the programme automatically when it starts.
Don't know if there's anything obvious but it seems dvb-s channels are not playing in the app or the web (or Emby). Just a blank screen. Rebooted the machine. Tuners seem to be there. Thanks very much...
I just discovered NextPVR and I'm impressed but unfortunately I can't make it work properly with my DVB-T device.
I have an Ubuntu Box 18.04.4 and the following usb dongle :
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 048d:9006 Integrated Technology Express, Inc. IT9135 BDA Afatech DVB-T HDTV Dongle
Install went smoothly and I cand find all channels I need, however everything stop working after a couple of mins which make it unusable.
I can see live channels from dvb-t but after switching 4-5 channels the device get stuck with either :
- Starting Device wait
- Receiving data
Same thing happens with web browser or Kodi plugin, no matter the channel.
If I restart the computer everything works fine for another five minutes :-)
I tried also the docker version but I have exactly the same behavior.
Not sure if it's some compatibility issue with my usb dongle or something else.
Before Nextpvr I had no problem with mythtv or dvblink.
Is there anything I can do to make it work?
Logs are not very useful.
After comparing a SageTV recording to a NextPVR recording of the same program, with the same source, on the same device (colossus 2) I'm noticing two wildly different bitrates
SageTV: Data Rate: 12358 kbps
Total Bitrate: 12550 kbps
NextPVR: Data Rate: 4380 kbps
Total Bitrate: 4572 kbps
NextPVR recording also just doesn't seem as shape, is there a way to correct this?
Ciao, sto iniziando a testare v.5 e dichiaro che sono in IT e la lingua EN-US non è perfettamente familiare a me, quindi ho anche alcune difficoltà a capire alcune spiegazioni dai post esistenti.
Stavo cercando di usare v.4 e ho postato alcuni problemi. @Mvallevand aveva risposto invitandomi a installare v.5. L'ho fatto, ma non riesco nemmeno a eseguire l'impostazione.
Il problema attuale:
- Ho installato v.5 senza disinstallare v.4 (ho verificato che le due versioni sono state installate automaticamente in due cartelle diverse (v.4 era in Programmi (x86) , NPVR e v.5 è in Programmi , NextPVR ) .
- l'esecuzione di NextPVR.exe da NextPVR- client questo avviso viene visualizzato temporaneamente: "Troppi reindirizzamenti automatici sono stati tentati" (???)
poi in esecuzione Impostazioni, tutto sembra OK, ma andando a dispositivi e canali va a web a http://localhost:8866/settings.html ottenere un errore del Server (vedi allegato). Idem cliccato su http://localhost:8866/settings.html.
Come va?
PS: Coglio l'occasione per segnalare anche che il file data-tuning-DVB-T-Italy - Liguria - Genova.ini è assolutamente errato (era anche in v.4) e, se interessato, posso indicare le giuste frequenze .[attachment=1261]
