I had a recurring recording timer set and subsequently deleted it.

It did not cancel future recordings. Now, about 10 instances show up daily that fail, but I am tired of seeing them in the recording queue.

They do not appear in either Kodi nor NPVR under recurring recordings, but they show up in both under scheduled future recordings.

I would be willing to just cancel all recordings, then rebuild the recurring recording selections if need be.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am running Kodi 18.6 and NextPVR 5.0.3.200415 on the same machine.
I am using a HDHomeRun Connect Quattro with firmware 20200225

When in TV Guide within Kodi... when I select a channel and then choose switch.. I get a timer along the bottom which shows how far the current program is in to the program. But it doesn't open the channel.
Whilst checking NextPVR device status, it shows nothing in use and the same on the HDHomerun web interface.
It can take 3-5 times (or more) of selecting the channel and selecting switch before it finally opens.
when it does, it then shows 3 items



And then once I refresh it just shows one active



However it only shows one tuner active in HDHomeRun



I've enclosed the logs, but password protected it. I'll PM sub with the password

If you check from 00:21:25.566 - that is where it first mentions BBC News, which is the channel I was trying to select.

Any ideas why it take a few attempts to open any of the channels?

Hoping someone can help. I have the SDK 3.1 Runtime installed and trying to run the following command to test changes in the database. But nothing gets changed. Is this the correct syntax to use to rename files in the database.

I'm trying to create a script to rename files with no SXXEXX so Plex can see it.

I am having a recording issue where the computer doing the recording will typically drop two or three seconds once or twice during a 90 minute or two hour movie. It is not a huge loss, but I'm trying to build a movie library, and the drop outs are noticeable and annoying. Moreover, the dropouts are not present in the same movie when I watch it while it is recording (i.e., the stream from the satellite dish is fine - the computer / NextPVR is dropping the recording periodically). The computer setup is a Windows 7 pro computer (I backed this down from Windows 10, which removed some but not all of the problems), a Colossus 2 card, and a connection via HDMI to a Dish Network STB. Any help in fixing this would be greatly appreciated. I've got two computers with close to the identical setup, and both are experiencing the same issue.

The main exe is a much older build.  Did I download the wrong version?  Where is the newer build?  It is showing Direct 2D, not 3D

I still can't find HAUPBLAST.EXE in V5.  Forgive me if I just don't see it and tell me where it is.  For us old V4 users, no big deal since we have it, but it appears to me that it's still not in the V5 installation.  I'm not sure how to get V5 working with Hauppauge tuners without Haupblast.

In the last version , when you paused you could then hit Timeline and the timeline would go away so you could see things under it, such as weather stats.  You can no longer make the timeline go away in pause.

My NextPVR backend is not getting populated with EPG information. Here is some background info:

USA, outdoor antenna, very strong signals.

HDHomeRun CONNECT DUO 10693538, Version 20200225, 37 Channels. Their HDHomeRun windows app shows EPG info going out about 3 hours. Also, my Samguns TV gets EPG as well, so I know it is there.

NextPVR backend Version: 5.0.3.200415 running on Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS. Using the web interface (http://192.168.1.67:8866/channels.html) I see lots of channels such as 21.1 - WXXI-HD. Under General, tried channel group "All channels" and "HDHomeRun Channels." Under Devices, it sees both HDHomeRun tuners, each with 37 channels. Under Channels, it shows a list, but for EPG Source they have None. I manually modified a few to "DVB/ATSC EPG" with no luck. Under Guide, I have the Automatic EPG Update set to 02:44:00 and nothing happened. Also under Guide it says "EPG Sources, Shown below is the list of guide sources known to NextPVR: DVB/ATSC EPG"

I have Kodi leia running on a RPI4 and the NextPVR client connects fine, allows live TV pause, rewind, manual recording...but its guide is blank as well.

I've tried on the NextPVR web http://192.168.1.67:8866/settings.html# page: Empty EPG, and also Update EPG. When I empty it says "All guide data has been deleted." When I go to update EPG, it appears to scan a bunch (not all) of channels but always ends with "EPG Update complete. [0 inserted, 0 updated, 0 skipped]"

I am not sure if this is a Windows issue or v5 issue.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

The v4 server runs on Windows 7, set to sleep after 15 minutes of computer idle time.
The v5 server runs on Windows 10 pro, set to sleep after 15 minutes of computer idle time.

The sleep behavior on the v4 server is that once the streaming (live or recording) stops, the server will wait 15 minutes before putting itself to sleep.

But the sleep behavior on the v5 server is that once the streaming stops, the server puts itself to sleep within 2 minutes.

The reason that is problematic for me is if I end watching one stream, then spend a couple of minutes checking what's available to watch next, the server will have already gone to sleep, thereby requiring a new WOL to be generated in order to watch something else.[attachment=1282][attachment=1282][attachment=1282]

One of our most critical features of NextPVR is the ability to use the 4 colored dots to flag recordings. We use them both to indicate which recordings each of us has watched (ultimately so that we know when it is safe to delete them) and also to indicate other statuses (Red=do not delete, Red+Yellow=recording from S1E1 rule, to keep recording series I need to add a series recording rule, Yellow=problem recording).

We use knewc on RPis running LE almost exclusively. So these work great. However, I would really like to have the 4 colored dot support implemented on all of the NextPVR clients. I would especially like this on the new web client interface since that can be accessed remotely to tag recordings if they are watched via another method (such as online streaming from the network website).  It would also be nice from the iOS client on my phone or iPad.
