When I try to intall GBPVR I get "Internal Error 2908" click ok then get "Error 1935."
I looked in my add/remove programs and I have neither Microsoft .net 1.1 or 2.0 listed.
I tried to install Microsoft .net 1.1 but I get the error: "Extracting file failed. It is most likely caused by low memory (low diskspace for swapping file) or corrupted Cabinet file." I've downloaded this file about 5 times and tried so its not corrupted.
Tried to install Microsoft .net 1.1 SDK and nothing better happened.
Installed Microsoft .net 2.0 and got through the install but was unable to open the GBPVR config. It just had an error opening and would not work.
It's funny but I was able to get GBPVR to work in about 5 minutes the first time I used it in Windows 2000. Installed the recommended files and it was all good. Now... Windows XP SP2 and I'm just at a loss.
I have one of those keyboards with a joystick type thing stuck on the top corner. This works well for GBPVR and surfing the net etc
Anyway - When I go into live TV mode the mouse cursor dissappears and I lose the control through the OSD.
After this the k/b will not work within windows until after a restart. This doesnt happen if I watch recordings etc.
I currently have a PVR500 installed in my Rig, and it is performing fairly well. The only issue I have is the card is being used for 3 sources on 2 tuners. This means that 1 tuner is getting 2 sources. So when I record on tuner X - I can no longer get access to the second source.
Hence I am about to install my back-up PVR150 from my test rig into production.
But before I do - any advice from the forum. Things to watch out for
Complications that others may have encountered using thse 2 cards together.
I want to have my production rig down for as short a period as possible, so advice is sought on tricks and traps to be aware of.

Does any have a comcast motorola box and controll it with the serial port? I know it will work with ir blaster, but would like to use it serial port. any ideas
So I added a PVR-500 to my Punidit-R box and removed one of the pvr-250s. I reconfigured the cards for GBPVR.
I used the devicetype utility to make sure the correct pvr500 was in the correct place.
Then I started GBPVR, and started recording one show. I tried to watch another and the machine stalled. I later tried to record 3 show at the same time, but it only recorded the show from the PVR250 nothing from the 500.
Today I installed 1GB more memory, and it helped the boot time, but that is about it.
Any help would be apprechiated. I will play with it some more in the meantime. Thanks.
After done latest gbpvr update and played with PowerDVD it works as charm, but won't let pc to standby. So, what should me do to get HVR1300 working. Case is it doesn't turn off itself after timeout. With what utility it is possible to explore open files and open devices eth.?
I searched wiki and forum, collected piece from there and there and... still stuck.
I guess I'm not the first one here with such an issue, but lets give guidelines to other ones
Situation: GB-PVR v.latest. Used with updates about 1,5 years. Perfect! Used 1 tuner PVR-150. (model HAU-1056). Last week purchased finally HVR-1300 (HAU-1113) and hence to problems began. At first, found from forums that I need to use as Hauppauge Roslyn the analog part and as Hauppauge Nova-T 90002 as digital DVB-T part. The first time I was stuck in GBPVR logics! So first FAQ point:
*) I already have defined PVR150 as capture source #1 (named: PVR150). Now, to define HVR1300, does I need to define it as capture source #2 and #3 or could I merge new tuner(s) with existing capture source. Why? Because these two physical cards share the same rooftop antenna. Soma same channels are broadcasted as analog and digital, some only as analogue.
In GBPVR config there is no option to define additional capture to existing source. In my logics, should be. If I'm defining new capture sources then I must also define new channels and EPG and so on. But these I already have working so, needs to add new tuner to existing source. Or how?
*) DBA defining as new capture source works and detects card as Nova-T 90002 but scans for no channel info (I guess poor signal quality, so have to go on roof with ice and snow to install new cables).
*) Defined new analogue source, Hauppauge Roslyn. But checking checkbox (detected devices only) shows only already defined PVR150. So, no success with second analogue tuner. When forced it into config and defined same channel names I've got such a thing in logs:
In logs it shows this:

Ok, help me getting working HVR1300 and I'll be happy again
After I watch a show...it goes to the watched tab, and i cant watch it again... All i can do is delete it...how do I do that?
Also.. cant seem to get the images for the recorded shows downloaded.. how do I do that?
And... Xguide goes SUPER slow for me... I imagine that i might just because I have slow hardware (EPIA SP13000), but the normal guide works ok. Is there a reason its so slow? And whats up with all the stuff thats not on being greyed out? Can I change the coloe scheme?
