I was wondering if it is still possible to get a mediamvp for $40, was able to get one at Radioshack a few monthes ago but can't seem to find them anywhere for that price. I have some friends that would love to hookup a mediamvp to TV with gbpvr in the background. If you happen to know where you can get them or have some available at that price please pm me.
For those that are using the Priority Scheduling ability in XRecord, this release addresses some issues with the scheduler. No changes to XRecord it self have been done.
Changes:
This service pack addresses the following issues and adds a new optional utility:
* Multiple Capture Sources - When PriorityRecordings schedules shows that can appear on more than one capture source, it was still only scheduling to the capture source specified. Now if there is a conflict, it will try to schedule the show on any available capture source before it puts the show into conflict status. This works if the force capture source attribute is set to no, or if no capture source is specified for the show.
* Configuration settings over written - This has been fixed so that custom configuration settings for options like Conflict handling do not need to be reset if changed from Keep to Delete or vice versa.
* New Utility (by Ton): DeleteSchedule.exe - Delete all PriorityRecordings that have been scheduled. Useful to have in UpdateEPG.bat before GBPVR reloads the complete episode guide in the GBPVR database. This should handle the issues where the wrong show is recorded because the guide entry has been changed.
Thanks goes to all those that have reported bugs and patiently waited for fixes.
The retime utility works and I get the original.mpg and original_faulty.mpg but then it stops. I have tried running the comskip and comclean utilities in a separate bat file with the file names entered and in quotes and that works, so I think I have all the files in the correct place, but the postprocessing.bat will not work. Do the %1 characters need to be in quotes as well?
Any time i load up explorer.exe..like my documents, my computer... explorer.exe shoots to 100percent cpu even after i close these programs...usually i can induce a crash..but i cant even really browse for any files because the pc will become very slow...
I have just installed GBPVR and the SoftwareRecorder plugin with an AverTV 203 PCI card. I've set it up in "Software Recorder Configuration" the "Constant Channel", "Video Encoder" and the "Audio Encoder" are the only blank boxes.
How do I tune in to channels for Live TV?
I've tried the Tuning assistant but that does not list the 203.
I am making some good progress in learning Comskip how to read TS input.
DVB-T is working ok now (for the streams I tested with) and ATSC works both for MPEG audio and AC3 audio.
One of the test streams does contain multiple video streams. The same content but one in 60fps HD and one in 30fps SD.
This is diffucult because I now have to find a way to decide which stream to use. Or I will take the first one I encounter.
Do many DVB-T or ATSC TS carry multiple video streams?
Or is it possible to set your recording such that only one video and audio stream is present in the recording?
I'd like a way to display more channels at once in the TV guide (10, 15, or 20 channels instead of the current 7). An option for smaller fonts, to lose the "TV Guide" header, or whatever.
In addition, I'd like the listing to stop at the bottom when scrolling down instead of wrapping around. The way it is now, I often scroll through the same channels not realizing I've already gone all the way through the list.
I'd also like a way to jump to a specific day and/or a specific time (Next Saturday at 3pm for example), without having to scroll all the way through the week to get there.
Let me preface my question by saying that I am a current Mythtv user looking to switch to a Windows based PVR solution. I am currently using a PVR150 and an Avermedia M179 capture cards. I have both local cable television service and DirecTv.
Can gbpvr handle both video sources if I dedicate one card per source? I've read a bit of the documentation and think I understood that you can use the svideo for one source and the antennae/coax in for a different source. Is that true? If so that is truely amazing.
One last thing: will the IR blaster (IR sender) on the PVR150 work under gbpvr?
