I noticed my very widescreen movies which when played with windows media player are letterboxed on the top and bottom on my 16:9 tv. When I play the same movie using GB-PVR their is no letter boxes. Does that mean GB-PVR is cropping my movies? If it is cropping them, am I able to disbale this feature?
I am having a little trouble with the playback quality of live TV. I am not sure If I have all the settings right, or what setting would work better, but the quality of live playback is bad. The immage looks very pixelated. i am not sure if it is due to using the software encoder or what, but i am open to any suggestions. I have attached a couple images of the quality of the picture and the type of settigns I am working with. Sorry but I am a novice at this. Thank you

using my logitech mouse i can press to the sides on the scroll wheel and it scrolls horizontally. if at all possible, i would like to do this in the tv guide as well. without mapping the arrow keys to the buttons, as i would like to continue to scroll horizontally in other programs. not sure what it would take though.
I have downloaded Music Player and installed it(?). Everytime I try to play a song I get an error “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”. Did I not install it correctly. Please help. Thanks.
Hello. I'm using GB-PVR 0.95.16 on an XP Pro SP2 system with two administrator accounts set up on it. I can use GB-PVR without any problems on the main account. But on the other account, when I use Live Timeshifting mode, it will play for about 2 seconds, then it will go back to the main menu. In the same account, I can record programs on the TV guide and watch them later without any problems.
Using Live Preview mode, it kept playing beyond 2 seconds. But when I pressed pause to go into timeshifting mode, it again played for 2 seconds then went to the main menu.
My TV tuner is a Sapphire Theatrix 550. Again, Live Timeshifting mode works fine in the main account.
I have quite a few directories in my "Video Library". It takes a while to scroll down to the ones at the end. It would be nice to "scroll up" past the start and have the selection move to the last directory in the list.
Hello.. I have a enoying problem.. I have read in this forums but I can't find the answer to my problem even if I have followed some useful tips.
Let's start with the basics:
I have a ASUS p7131 DUAL multimedia video card, okay I know that it seems not to be supported but I read and I followed the tips I get in this thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ight=p7131 and I must say it worked.
I can now be able to choose my video card in the "capture sources"-tab in GB-PVR configuration. Here I click "Add" and choose "Direct Recording Plugin" and then settings choose my now visible video card, my country (Sweden) and then the source "Internel Tuner" Tuning "Cable". Fix the XMLTV plugin and get the EPG for the channels I have.
In the playback options have I choosed Video Decoder "Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder", "Cyberlink Audio decorder", Checked the "VRM9 Custom Renderer", If I choose an other VRM then i can't see the OSD with EPG and so on..
Now to my problem: When I use the Tuning Assistant I find all the channels and get picture, Channel ID and the frequencys. I did like the popup says; set the Channel number from the popup to the added capture source.
BUT! When I start GBPVR and klick on the Live TV then it's black the only thing I see is the OSD with the EPG information. I have also used the program "fre2reg" but now result there, I have tested my mpeg2 codec and it works fine, I can't understand whats wrong..?
here is a output from the gbpvr.exe -native log:
