Anyone know why my GBPVRRecordingService.exe would be eating up RAM? It seems to work fine, but after the first recording it balloons up to over 200MB and doesn't shrink until i restart it.

Any ideas?

I have two mvp's and one pvr-150 currently and want to add another tuner, plus I would like to have fm radio capability. I don't want to go with a pvr-150mce because I anticipate going to digital cable in the near future and want both tuners to have ir blaster capability.

What I am thinking of doing is adding a pvr-150 and another tuner for fm radio. Are there any fm radio cards supported by gbpvr?

I do have a WINTV-GO card, would it make sense to add it in as the third tuner card and basically it would only ever be used for fm radio. I suppose if two programs were recording, it could be used for live tv....but that would be extremely rare..

When watching rented DVDs, I had enabled the system default which is the AC-3 filter audio decoder. But when I try to watch DVDs that I have authored, the sound is mute. If I switch to another Decoder (like the Dscaler Audio Decoder), I get sound. What gives? Anyone know what may be the problem?

Sorry if already implemented or requested! Please can I just press play on a folder or album and it will play all tracks in that folder/album?

GBPVR.com worked initially then I tried to go to WIKI first which failed. Then even GBPVR.com failed. I guess I stumbled right on the failure time.

I'd like to change the task description text for some of the plugins I use, but I don't know where it comes from. Can someone please tell me where it is?

I have had the 'Performance Counter Is Disabled' error and have followed the advice in the thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ce+counter
and the MS page:

(twice each time after a hard reboot)
...but still I get the same error when using the config, and when I attempt to open GBPVR it does nothing - no screen, it's as if I haven't even opened it.

Any ideas? I bought a new MBoard, graphics card, tv card etc... after reading posts on recommended hardware in this forum for a dedicated machine after reading about this (fantastic looking) bit of software.

I am desperate to get it working, or my misses might just cut my old chaps off for spending so much cash on the promise of tv delights ;-)

Would a complete XP reinstall help do you think?

Each time I try to run the Config, set up channels etc... and then click OK, I get the following error:

I can feel I'm getting close, but not quite close enough. It was showing me live-tv but the remote wasn't working, so went in and selected Default-Hauppague and clicked ok and got the same error message again.

will the default Nova-T remote work with this, once I have this error overcome?

I saw this feature advertised on TiVo's website for their product, and I know that all the actor/actress information is included in the standard Zap2it feed... Is there a way in GBPVR to search for programs by this data?

For example, sometimes favorite actors are guests on talk shows, and I may want to know about those as well as their standard program.
