Hi Sub -- I wonder if you could take a look at this problem? I'm using the XMLTV listings from Bleb for UK terrestrial TV, and the bleb.org site says "the last programme on each day will not have an end time or duration" and so the last show on one particular channel (if you search the XML its called "itv nightscreen") screws up the TV guide. The problem occurs when navigating the TV Guide with the remote, moving up or down into the offending channel, whereas if you click on it with the mouse it seems okay. The problem is, that show appears to run 'forever' and gets mixed up with other shows on the same channel. I've zipped the data.xml file and attached it, any chance you could look at fixing it?
It seems that the show simply has no end time specified in the XML, I guess you could put a sanity-check in for this kind of thing, maybe?
Ive been running gbpvr on and off for a while now and have recently built a new dedicated gbpvr pc. Im running the latest version (95.16 i think) on a Nvidia NF8 motherboard, sempron 2600+, 1gig ram, nova-t usb 2, radeon 9200.
I have a good stable system (though I had to revert to an earlier version of the ati catalyst drivers), my problem is that when exiting from live tv I get a "object ref not set to instance...." error.
Ive attached the logs but dont personaly see anything of note.
The error dosent cause any problems as such as I can re-enter live tv, recordings work but Id like to fix it if i can.
Any ideas on how to narrow down the problem would be appreciated.
I have an interesting scenario. My brother wants to start his own HTPC but has a particular way of saving music. He rips CDs as ISO.
So, he would like an application that can actually go into a set of ISOs, make a database of the songs and be able to choose songs from his various ISOs.
Right now I know that Foobar plays ISOs.
Anyway, I don't know if my brother's a weirdo or if it's a trend with HDDs getting cheaper each day.
I've noticed that the photos in a slideshow look like they are displaying 256 colours (or similar) instead of the full range. Is this a limitation or am I missing something?
Was messing with config and changed demuxer to SS (showshifter) and then got bsod and reboot. Now every time I try to go into config get exception error - Jet database engine stpped the process because you and another user are trying to change the same data at same time? if I select continue my config is empty beacuse i presume it cant get the config from the mdb file. Anyone any ideas? I've uninstalled showshifter to see if it helps but no luck!
Basically said it all in the title but when I go to live there isnt any sound but when i go to playback or pause and play i get sound so my audio decoder is working otherwise I wouldnt get sound when i watch recorded or when I hit pause. I have looked in posts but can't find this specific problem.
Currently, if "Prompt for resume" is on, resume still shows on the recording menu (Play, Resume, Delete, Exit). Just for the sake of having Delete one fewer button presses away, I'd like to see the resume option go away, since I'll be prompted for resume on Play anyway (more like older versions). Very minor, though - doesn't matter much either way.
I know some people don't like these 'generic' questions but will ask it anyway! I have 512mb ram at the moment in my htpc, would an extra 512mb be a worthwhile investment?
I have a Toshiba F20-136 uk laptop with XP Mediacentre which tends to lose the TV signal, hence trying to install GB-PRV software.
Iâve installed Netframework 1.1 then GB-PRV (GBPR09516) then gone onto

When I run the tuner software, I change the Country to UK then I canât find the Card Type (tried them all) I get msg âfailed crossbar, wrong device typeâ
Iâve checked my devices and shows âToshiba PCI DVB-T/Analog Hybrid Tunerâ
Has anyone any ideas how to get the program running.
