Saw a number of threads related to this, but nothing matching my setup, so here goes:
While recording a show, I can't watch movies because they stutter real bad and navigating the interface is real slow. checked task manager and sure enough...theres 100% cpu. When not recording a show (ie live tv) everything works fine. Using latest ver. of gbpvr and nvidia purevideo decoder. Fresh install of XP and nothing else loaded (aside from driver's).
I have: happauge 500mce
athlon64 3500+
1gb ram
geforce 6600
blue2 skin
my videos plugin
weather plugin

I saw something in another thread that sais earlier versions of gb don't have this issue, but all I have is the latest one that can be downloaded.
Would it help to get log files?

Splendid functionality so far.

Just worked my way through 'getting dvd-recording to work'.

Some though:
-> some basic vide-editing woruld be nice.

If i record over 2hours, i can no longer record a dvd without leaving gbpvr.

Generally:
-> i have a recorded tail of 20 minutes, since brodacasters (especially belgium) tend to be less accurate with timing.
-> i have commersials included.

Just some way to cut the tail and probably cut some commercials would be nice.

I noticed the RSS plug-in and have yet to install it, but it would be nice if that plug-in could be modified or another developed that could handle audio and/or video RSS feeds. The Audio and/or Video could be downloaded (similar to an RSS reader) for hearing/viewing at a future time.

Feature ideas:

• Abiliity for users to specify their own feeds
  
• Setting for how often and/or when data should be retrieved (every two hours or 3:00am daily, especially handy for downloading large files)
  
• Flag content as read/viewed
  
• Ability to mark content as unviewed/unread
  
• Setting for when the content should expire/be deleted
  
• Ability to flag content that should be kept (not deleted)
  
• Specify which feeds have unread content in feed listings

I have a problem when playing all mp3s in one album. If I want to stop playing a track, MVP crashes with a message "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object". It pops up with an OK button, but the whole thing freezes and I have to reset MVP Server. I'm using GB-PVR 0.95.16

Also, I have tried to send a donation for this great program, (from the link at the top of the page) but Paypal gives an error too: "Please enter an amount greater than zero. We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account Overview before resending a payment."

Can you fix the link? I'll be more than happy to donate.

I just discovered the plug-ins for GB-PVR and I love them. I noticed the "refresh" button in the theater plug-in, but it would be nice if the plug-in could refresh the information on a schedule. My first thought was to use windows scheduler to run the batch file daily. And maybe have a spot to display the last time the information was updated?

Another question I have is: do the XML and image files get deleted when the movie is no longer running?

The option "Use FFDSHOW post-processing if installed" on the playback tab appears in the help documentation.

However, on my install, that option is not there. I'm using the lastest version. Was this option removed?

I'm trying to get my DivX/XVid/DVD files to play with the correct aspect ratio? Am I heading in the correct direction?

Also, how would I add the change aspect ratio command to my hauppauge 45 button remote?

I've just reinstalled GBPVR on a completely new system built just for running it.
A few niggles on the way but I've finally got it working, so it changes channels, the usb-uirt is working, xmltv has pulled down listings, etc, when I now have a strange intermittent fault.

It seems when I pause/rewind live tv, pausing is fine, but instead of rewinding, it exits back to the main menu. This is my first proper test of the new system. It has been rebooted several times.

I'm also getting a problem when using the mini tv guide. I've posted the end of the GBPVR.exe.log below.
You can see what I was doing - watching a channel, browsing the mini-guide on screen and using gbpvr to change to another channel. After doing this 2-3 times, it exits back to the menu at the "stoplive tv" point. I can't browse the mini guide without it constantly exiting back to the main menu.

The pc is a sempron 2400 with 512mb ram, 40gb hard drive (8.5gb free), win xp, using a Hauppauge PVR 350 card. The only things running on the system are gbpvr, the hauppauge ir remote software, and the other various gbpvr services. I have a few additional plugins installed:
the system status one,
weather,
rss feeds,
web browser,
cinema listings
and
shutdown.
I had all of these apart from the web browser running on my old pc, (that I was using to test gbpvr before I committed to a whole new system for it) and no such issues with only 256mb ram.

Any help on this would be much appreciated

For some strange reason one channel (9 - Sportsnet Pacific) is showing no information at all in my guide listing and I was wondering if anyone can confirm that this is happening with them and/or give me suggestions on how to rectify this.

I noticed if you are paused, the clock at the bottom w/ the time doesn't keep going. If that's the case, it would be good to have it keep going.

Total noob here, so I apologize if this is incorrect!

I believe that the ChannelIconDownload Utility in the wiki is out of date.

From what I gather reading other posts and tinkering with the application, channel icons should be saved under C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\media\ChannelLogos

You can manually download icons from http://www.lyngsat-logo.com/index.html and save them in the above directory. Make sure you name them exactly the same as they are listed in your Config > Channels.
