Many people have raved about the NVidia decoders, but was I wrong in assuming they came with an NVidia graphics card? I couldn't tell that a decoder got installed with my new 6200, gbpvr's config certainly doesn't show it, and when I got to NVidia's website all I can find was reference to their PureVideo decoder which has to be purchased separately.
Did those of you who use the NVidia decoders purchase them separately? And if so, are the PureVideo decoders really that much better than a quality decoder like Nero or some others?
Really excited to use GBPVR but after two installs and following the config to the letter only get this message. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Am very new to c# and am experimenting with GBPVR plugins. Have followed instruction in wiki and have built the simple "hello world app" - just to get me started.
I can build the simple plugin with no errors. When I place the plugin.dll file in the GBPVR plugins directory then I get an error complaining of a missing (unspecified) resource file when I attempt to run the configuration app.
GBPVR is 95.16.
C# is latest download from microsoft C# express 2005.
.Net 2.0 was installed by the app about a week ago and is version 2.0.50727
I have read that others on the forum have had similar problem but they were using .net 1.1 some time ago.
How can I fix this?
I would not be surprised if there is a setting in the c# ide that I have not set etc.
Can the GB-PVR software be installed without a tuner card? I just wanted to check out the interface, and maybe use it to playback Videos and Music.
I tried it, but after installation, I get an error running config.exe. I didn't see any error messages in the Event Log, so I am unsure what the problem might be.
I am having some difficulties playing back quicktime mov files in gbpvr. They video files are widescreen however none of them play wide screen. All of my other avis play widescreen. If I play them in windows media player they play widescreen. Just not in gbpvr. Other quicktime files I have will play but with no sound. They are all trailers from apples website and they all play perfectly in windows media player. Not sure what the deal is but I know others are having the same problem so any help at all would be much appreciated.
A side note I do have the quicktime alternative installed. I even tried uninstalling it and installing the real itunes/quicktime product. No difference at all inside gbpvr.
It seems that zap2it was having problems yesterday but i am still having problems. when I went to update my EPG like I have done about 5 times now I keep getting this message.
Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly.
The setting appear be the same as before USA/CANADA I donât think I changed anything at all. i am using hauppage 150 i logged into zap2it and the forum is still down are they still having problems or is something wrong on my end.
I see the new VA has some extras for showing conflicts. I have a conflict at the moment between two season recordings. I see one of those in the pending screen of the VA, marked correctly. The other doesn't show up at all. Also i don't see anything about conflicts in the panel. It shows one of the conflicts as scheduled, but no mention of it being in conflict, the one it's conflicted with doesn't show at all. I do have show conflicts checked in the settings for the VA panel.
I guess my questions are
Is this what it's supposed to be doing at this point in it's development?
Should it be showing as a conflict on the VA panel?
Is there any way to resolve from within VA yet?
