On-screen - need to see the two or ? conflicting shows in one button push rather than at least 2 additional.

I have a weird issue that has been happening for a bit of time. First, in MyVideos, when I play mostly Divx files, the keyboard and therefore my remote won't respond to pause, ff, or other such things until the mouse button is pressed over the pop-up control menu. I have dealt with it, but as TV is on Hiadous now, all I do is watch my divx stuff. Any help would be great. I did reinstall the plugin btw.

Second, is there a way to get the whole MyVideos main menu to fit on my screen without removing buttons? I know what the buttons do, I would just like to see them all.

I just went into the TV Guide to re-add recurring recordings for SG1, SGA, and BSG, and I am faced with this..



Using PERL, I attained the following for SG1 from the database...

This program does not, nor SGA, nor BSG, last *4* hours. The start time is correct, as all they are. The episodes I selected were from Jan 6th and do not show up as lasting 4 hours in the guide. Luckily, it seems to have scheduled the Jan 6th episodes for each of these series, though I don't possibly see why it would when it's *this* broken.

I just upgraded to see if it would stop doing this, it has not. I'm getting kind of tired of having to fix these by manipulating the database by hand. Am I screwing this up somehow?

I have just installed a TUL (ATI) Theatre 550 Pro tuner card. I have tried Powercinema, GBPVR, and even Nerovision (for recording) and I am having the same problem in all.

The sound and picture start off fine but after approximately one minute or so the sound cuts out. If I change channels, it comes back then cuts out again after a minute. I have already taken the card back to the store where I purchased it and they said it worked fine with Powercinema on one of their PCs. I have even tried it on my other computer and have the same problem. I don't like to give up but I have spent hours on this now.

I have done the reinstalling and updating drivers thing, disabled timeshift, antivirus, screensavers etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

When using myvideos and trying to lookup a movie using imdb I will get a list of possible matches then after choosing one I get an error

Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Could any body help with this?

I’m not sure what happened, I went to update my EPG like I have done about 5 times now and I keep getting this message.
Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly.
The setting appear be the same as before USA/CANADA I don’t think I changed anything at all.

Hi there,

I have the following pvr cards:
1) PVR150 (retail with remote)
2) PVR150MCE
3) PVR150MCE

When I install only one card (ie the first one) everything seems to be working, including viewing in GBpvr and recording through the GBRecord.exe app. I'm using the GBRecord.exe app because I want the scheduling of programs to be handled by webshifter (needs a commandline interface).

Installing another card gives me a major headache however. When the second card is installed, the card that at first worked fine, doesn't record anymore; that is, it gives a zero length file and the logfile states the following errror:

• I tried almost every combination of the tv-cards above, using 4 different PCI slots and two cards at the time.
  
• I also removed my soundcard from the devicelist and installed it again (suggestion from this forum).
  
• I deinstalled all hauppauge software and installed the newest drivers I could find (another suggestion from this forum).
  
• I searched the forum and also found a suggestion to add the following line to the config.xml:

  <AutoDetectEncoder>false</AutoDetectEncoder>
  I tried, but this didn't help either. I didn't find the NativeUtilities.dll patch, but read that in the recent version (using GBPVR09105) the patch was included in the core (?).
  

I have successfully loaded up my itunes playlists within "mymusic" and played them through my sound system using my mvp and gbpvr. This is great software!I have been trying to get some music art to appear instead of the default cd tray but so far I havnt had any luck. I have add a picture file to the same folder as my music files for one of the playlists and named the picture as Folder.jpg and Default.jpg but I cant get it to display.
If I select "folders" instead of (itunes) "playlists" and then select a tune I can then get the picture to display ok in "mymusic". However as soon as the tune finishes the picture goes away and the music stops.If I want to hear another song I have to select the next tune in the list with my remote - its not like a playlist where the next tune is played automatically! Obviously the playlists are the only way to go - but how can I get the picture to display? This is frustrating because I feel its something quite simple I need to do to fix this problem. Any suggestions anyone?

Ive been lurking a while, trying to make the best decisions :

- I want to do the remote thing with mediaMVP, with a DVBS capture card (with CI slot) and all the pvr fun of gbpvr.
- I also want to be able to playback avi in divx, wma and mp3.
- I'd really like hdmi output from the MVP - it cant but others can, but dont do the remote thing quite so well - ( dvico http://www.tvix.co.kr/ENG/Products/HDM5000U.aspx ? zenMicro 4/500 http://www.zensonic.com/z500.php ? )
- I'd really like a HDTV capture card now, so I dont pay now and pay later as well ...
- I'd like to be able to do the remoting from multiple locations
- I _need_ to be able to do the remote control with a zapper from the comfort of the sofa

Can I do it and not be disappointed (channel change lag etc) ?
If I can do it, how do i do it ?
Is gppvr the only way - what has the competition got the gbpvr doesnt it ?
Do I have to pay big bucks for this kind of thing, right here, right now - if so, why ?
