I've had this problem for the last 2 builds but it seems much more frequent in 16.
The system works fine but it seems like after it records a scheduled program I cant watch live tv for more than a few minutes before it returns to the main menu. If I exit and open config and save or just restart the recording service its fine again.
Any suggestions?
Can I use scheduler to just restart the service a few times a day?
I have a capture source setup to use the coax input of my pvr150 with cable
tv going into it. I am wondering if I can setup another source using my DISH
SAT and connecting it to the s-video and audio in on the pvr150?
I have FFMPEG conversion turned on and it took my 2 hour program and converted it but it was cut off at 1 hour 43 minutes. Silly me, I had it to delete the originals so I missed the endings of two shows!
I thought I saw someone post this problem somewhere else, but can't find it in the threads. Is there a solution to this problem?
since i primarily sort my music into folders rather than using tags for organization, i really like how easy it is to use the default music library plugin. i just wish that some sort of highlight would remain on the currently playing file so that it would be easy to see what is playing. if the list would automatically scroll to keep the current file on the screen at all times, then users could always see what was playing from the music library screen as well as the songs that were previously played. this special "currently playing" highlight could be as simple as a more transparent version of the normal highlight.
and one last thing because i often add additional information to the filenames of songs, it would be nice if i could display the music library list as filenames (minus the .mp3 extension) rather than having gbpvr parse all of those tags.
Is it possible to edit the service / channel names for display in the guide/EPG ?
The BBC Radio channels in particular are annoying - they get the important information truncated ie "BBC Radio 4" becomes "BBC Radio" !
This may be a newbie question, but I am having problems getting my epg to fully populate.
I am using a Hauppauge Nova PCI DVB-T 90002 card, and have tried using configuring the dvb epg several times. Just when I think it is sorted, the next time it refreshes (7:00am) I get a patchy epg, with single services missing huge blocks of events.
I tried the Bleb and xmltv epgs but they do not appear to cover all channels (ie radio is not covered).
What is the best way to get comprehensive EPG data within the UK ?
here is a bit of an odd problem - hopefully someone knows what is going on. i have girder4 setup to send keypresses for remote button presses. this works beautifully except when the visualization for music pops up. with the visualization, all buttons works fine *except* the directional buttons. when the music is stopped (and the visualization disappears) the arrow buttons work once again. i have played with the "window picker" to see if the affected buttons were somehow being sent to the vis window by accident but it appears that all buttons have the same settings. using the keyboard, however, the arrow keys work fine. i know i must be missing something.

I'm trying to place .MOV files created by my Panasonic/Lumix digital camera into a library where they can be viewed using GBPVR. These are short (a few minutes at most) videos.
They playback as black video and normal audio, under GBPVR.
I tried loading the MOV file into:
Windows XP MediaPlayer 10 latest - same black with audio
Nero - same as MediaPlayer 10
Apple QuickTime for Windows - shows video and audio normally.
Something odd in this camera's MOV files, I guess.
