Hi all!

I purchased my MediaMVP two days ago and everything works fine. My only problem is that the interface is soooo slow. Navigating through the menues is a pain, every time I press a button on the remote it lasts a second before something happens on the screen. What can I do? Is the box just so slow or is it my connection from the box to the server? I tried different versions of the mediaMVP software and also the GB-PVR-software but there doesn't seem to be any difference in speed.

BTW: There's no stuttering while playing a video-file, it's just the interface that's so slow.

Let me first express my admiration for this project. I installed GBPVR just one week ago (I am using it with an MPV), and I can't remember being so enthousiastic about a piece of technology since my first internet experience, 12 years ago. Just Fantastic !

Now my question. I am trying out the My Pictures plugin and I am looking for a way to run predefined slideshows without having to run all the pictures in the current directory. Something like a "picture playlist", exactly the way you have a "music playlist".

Does this exist? Or is there another plugin that does this trick? I think it would be really handy. I have a lot of pictures in my directory, but I do not want to bore my guests by forcing them to watch them all....

If I start out with no radio stations and add one it shows up fine. when i add a second station it doesnt show up. Only the first is there still. If I delete the first then the one I added second will show up. almost like it can only show one at a time.

I am using the lastest version of GBPVR and using Hauppuage WinTV-150MCE
(without Remote COntroller)

I can't find some wanted functions whether they can enable or disable in GB-PVR.

1. Nicam (Dual Language), As there are some tv program provide NIcam,
however i just hear one language.

2. In OSD , such as following photo


How can i turn the bar off (Show channel Number and Name and TIme)?
i think that it is little annoy, as it will appear if i mouse move.

Until few days ago I have used the o2grabber and it worked perfectly.

Suddenly it started amking problems and the GBPVR TVguide cannot be updated. In the first place I assumed it was an GBPVR error, but after I made a new XML file with "XMLTV" i works again. THus, the problem seems to be o2grabber. Please see the thread:

Well, the title of this thead already says it all. Is there a way to activate GBPVR with the remote control?
I tried searching te wiki and this forum, and I can't find any information that this is a regular feature. If yes, It's not working in my configuration. If no, is there a way of configuring this?

Some backgrounds: I use an Xcard and the DVD function in GBPVR is not working (error, but I understand that DVD with Xcard won't work anyway)
Xmedia works fine (on/off etc) , but not when GBPVR is running. It starts, but after 2 seconds it stops.

So for watching a DVD I want to use the Xcard remote, and for recording etc the Hauppauge.

Can someone help?

Is there any way to extract GBPVR's send messages because I want to invoke GBPVR through Hip since hauppauge's irremote.ini file is being a bit** about the program files directory. This causes, in turn, the hauppauge remote to invoke error messages instead of GBPVR, making the green button useless.

Hi, I have a problem with the happuage blaster plugin. Every now and then something screws up the ir signals therefore instead of turning the channel to 176, the plugin would turn to 1 after a while, 7 after another amount of time, then 6 therefore screwing up my scheduled recordings. Also, I've had a lot of errors when I try to select the MCE 2005 IR BLASTER, I HAVE THE 2005 MCE REMOTE AND BLASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI, I believe that microsoft's visual studio and .net framework programs are the source of the errors.

Just wondering if you can set the behavior of the confirm recording to have it default to no? This way I wont delete something if I press the enter key too many times since I would have to move the left cursor button to yes before it would delete.
