Perhaps I am not looking properly but I cannot see how to use a playlist with the version GBPVR I just downloaded. I can only select "play all" for a directory with files in alpabetical order.
Is the playlist option really there and I am missing it ?
Even if it were not there an option to play a .pls playlist saved from WinAMp would be good enough for me.
Just got this new FX5500 for my wife's PVR.
Latest drivers, newest gbpvr, using Nvidia decoder, VMR9, Dual-mode display with TV as the secondary via S-Video out.
Live TV and watching any recording, there are vertical black bars taking up about 10% of the screen on either side, but ONLY on the TV.
I have tried every option in the Nvidia control panel area.
I googled this, and perused the Nvidia forums, and it seems that this is an ongoing problem that nobody has successfully resolved.
It'd be nice on the recording screen if you could optionally specify that a recording should be transcoded, picking a certain transcode profile perhaps too.
I don't automatically transcode anything since I prefer the default MPEG2 format. However, there is occasion when I know I'm going to want to transcode a recording after it's done, maybe because I know it's going to a huge recording that I want to archive to AVI permanently (say the Godfather trilogy), or because I know I'm going to transfer it to my kids PSP.
I guess because my MVP & System are working great I need to start getting nit picky....:-)
Do others experience that you have to press the remote button twice on MVP startup to get an action? Maybe I'm not waiting for everything to load completely.
It's not a big deal, it actually bothers my wife more than it bothers me.
I run into a common problem when, for whatever reason, the station I chose in net radio stops working. Although the info in the bottom (station etc) still there, no sound is coming out. I have to click on the station again to resume playback. Is there a way to get net radio to resume in cases where a connection is no longer working? Thanks.
