When I first statup a configuration session I see one default cature source already entered "Device1-Tuner". I cannot seem to delete this capture source. When I try to delete and exit out of the configuration session the program hangs while trying to restart the recording service. Should I be able to delete this capture source? Why is it there to begin with?

im just trying to setup up gbpvr with my Twinhan DVB-S Ci card.
And right now im a bit frustrated, cause i have no idea how to map channels?!
First: the device was from the beginning correctly installed, so ive setup the correct frequencys, activated Astra 19,2 degrees (im from Austria, Europe).
Finally i activated DVB-EPG.
Then i pressed "Map digital channels to EPG channels" and the programm was searching. But the result was, that in this little list in the right corner only channels with name "unknown" where.
So i have no idea what to do?
I would be pleased if someone can help me out with a christmas wonder!

Is there an easy way to fix recording data? I.E. Some of my recordings list as failed even though the recording actually does exist. It would be nice if there was an easy editor to point the recording at.

As GB-PVR doesn't support recording DVB-T radio (yet), I thought I'd have a play at it myself. I can build a working graph in Graphedit and tune one of my Nova-T cards to the radio channel and capture to an mp3 file writer. So far so good.

I then tried using DirectShowLib (C# 'wrapper' for directshow available from Sourceforge). So far I can add the MS DVB-T Network Provider filter, Nova-t Tuner/Demod, Nova-T Capture and MPEG-2 demux to the graph and connect the first three successfully together. No matter what I do, however, I can't connect the MPEG2 Transport output pin of the capture filter to the MPEG2 Stream input pin of the mpeg2 demux. I don't get any errors, just nothing happens. If I 'break' in debug and connect to the remote graph I can, however, render the capture filter mpeg2 TS output pin using Graphedit and it happily hooks up with the mpeg2 demux.

I know this is all a bit vague but what I'm asking is...is there anything special about the default MPEG2 Demux that means I have to treat it differently? I'm specifying the pin media type/subtype/format by name or GUID as shown in filter properties in Graphedit.

There's something I want to record on Boxing Day but it's no big deal, I could always record from my STB to VCR or even just run the graph manually in graphedit.

You'd think I'd find something better to do on Christmas Eve than programming wouldn't you? Sad, sad man.

searched forums for anything related to my problem...

I can't change to a channel that has a ZERO in it. like 107 Comedy Central (DISH). it says it's recording the channel but what gets recorded is 57 UPN out of Philly

my channel listing would be 29, 57, 107, 110 so since it can't "FIND" 107 the PVR defaults to the next lower channel, in my case ch57. I don't want hours of worthless UPN shows when I want to record the Daily Show or something else.

any ideas???

anyone know of a 'fix' to get rid of the Dish Network screensaver . I'm not at home now so i can get the exact model of my DISH box. it's one of those dual tuner boxes though.

I did read of a way a long time ago to resolve this, or at least on MythTV (which my install never worked).

I searched through the support threads and couldn't find anything about this. Basicly, whenever surfing the web (via ie), GBPVR seems to really spike (I have a 2.4G p4). It actually slows down web surfing. I found that If I shutdown the GBPVR service (is this the recording service??), then things are better, however when I run the config, it throws complaining about the recording service (because I've disabled it). Is this CPU spike an anomoly with my machine or a real problem? Is there a way to shutdown the recording service while still using gbpvr (I only use it for showing videos and music).

I'm planning to record a lot of TV during the x-mas time. Unfortunately it won't work now.
It's like GBPVR stops importing to earlie. I use the o2grabber and live in Denmark. After the update has been performed only two programs are listed and no guide (programs) at all.

I used to work - what can it be?
