Ok, thanks to Sub, I've got my pvr back and running in the living room again.
I have my decoder coming in to the S input. I thought Id be clever and hook up my VHS (gasp!) through the comp on the PVR150. Sound is the problem though. I conected this to the input of the soundblaster card. Of course the video comes through ok (I set up a scource in config) but of course the sound is coming from the decoder! Anyway to fix this or should I buy one of the these http://registration.hauppauge.com/websto...p#av_cable
Extra vid and sound input?
I read that there are sone new features in the latest version like adjuting color from a pop up menu, how do I access this from the 45 b remote?
I'm new here so I don't know if this has already been suggested. I would like to be able to select a single channel from the program guide and see the entire day's programming for that channel, especially in the web interface. Thanks. This is a great app. I was very happy to find it.
I thought I would try using IIS. I created a virtual directory, pointed it to the GBPVR directory, and gave the IUSR full permissions on the GBPVR tree. When I browse to the webadmin index.aspx I keep getting "configuration error" at line 258 of machine.config. "File or assembly name NativeUtilities, or one of its dependencies" was not found.
Having searched the forums I could not find a reference to the nativeutilities problem in the context of IIS. Webadmin works normally when using the built-in webserver, and IIS has always been running on this machine, since before GBPVR was ever installed.
While I installed for a theatrix 550 card, I get a black screen when viewed using live tv or from EPG but it records and plays back fine. If you run tuning assistant you get picture OK as well. PC is AMD Athlon 64 3400, Nv 6800 video card, win XP SP2.
I can't get gbpvr to install, during installation I get 'Internal Error 2908' followed by a registry key. When I click 'Cancel' it does the same with a new key. It repeats this about 20 times(!) before I can then quickly cancel the installation.
I searched the forums and found one other instance of the problem from back in November last year, he had .NET v2 installed and found this was the problem. I DID have v2 installed but removing it doesn't seem to have made any difference.
Having recently upgraded to 95.16 I decided it was time to have a sort out and try and run all of my cards through GBPVR.
I had no problems setting up my pvr 150 fed from a Sky digital box using Radio Times XMLTV.
However, I haven't yet managed to get my Twinhan DVB-s card working again (usual problems which I hope to be able to sort out with a bit of perseverance).
What is causing me the biggest headache, however, is that when I try and remove one of the non working capture sources, after I click on the OK button to leave Config and save changes, the Config app just locks and the only way to get out is with the task manager.
I've been getting the error message below in the log for the last few days. Would anyone know what it is, and should i be doing anything to fix it? I'm not sure what stations it's talking about. TV, FM Radio, Net Radio, something else entirely?

In FM Radio, I can change the frequency using the keyboard, but i can't change the station name. Only <Backspace> seems to work.
where is the channel information stored? maybe the channel info can be directly entered there? (registry, ini-file,...?)
From the change log:
* Added additional weather types to the mappings between text and icons
* Added an option (set in the configuration app) to specifiy a language translation for detailed forecasts. The translations are done using googleâs translation page, so the results may not be very good
* Fixed a few small bugs
I know that MVP + AVI is unstable, and you don't want to spend a lot of time here, but I noticed a weird behavior, so this time I reproduced and attached the log, in case you notice anything obviously weird
I was watching an AVI (a "Just shoot me" episode). You know how when you press the blue button, the OSD pops up, and when the file is currently being transcoded, you see the total duration of the show increase
Anyway, every once in a while, sometimes this bar stops increasing and stays stuck at a certain value. This kinda throws the timeline all over the place. Skipping a commercial will send you at a random position in the file, etc.
It happened on that show yesterday. Nothing went wrong on the transcode (that I know of), and I could watch the whole 30 minute show. But the timebar got stuck at 23min and 10 seconds, and never went further. Before that, I tried to skip the commercials a couple times, and every time got sent to what seemed to be random positions in the recording
When playing, I reached that 23min10sec time position at 11:58PM last night, and I peacefully watched another 6 minutes of perfectly transcoded video. But from 11:58 to 12:04, the timebar got stuck on 23:10. Both total duration and current position.
So anyway, I'm attaching the logs here. I don't know if it's a MVP issue, or if it's sign of a logic problem in the calculations, or a bug, etc...
