Hello! I'm having a problem with Recording Auto Transcode the video in 1080p (.mp4) on v7. Everytime when I transcode the video, the original video doesn't delete except for HDHR recordings. It doesn't work in IPTV recordings.
Another problem is HDHR video keeps on buffing while watching it. It doesn't do this in v6. Everything works in v6, so thats why I switch back to Version: 6.1.1.221106 until the problem gets fixed in v7.
My other half complained that a number of her recurring recordings weren't getting scheduled.
Investigation showed the reason was the show Titles did not match the recurring schedule (although time/date did match.)
e.g. Title shows "Bargain Hunt" in Recurring recordings but EPG shows "Bargain Hunt: Celebrity Special".
I know there's a config setting RecurringMatch>Exact</RecurringMatch that I understood could be changed to "try" to match the titles if similar ones are found however what should "Exact" be replaced with?
Couldn't find a reference to the replacement value in the Wiki or via Forum search.
Hi - It might that the for movies doesn't work. Where can I find the option? What can I do ?
What did you need?
I need the pure file name / movie name without date and time. Would be great to get your help!!!! - Thanks
Using Schedules Direct, the iOS client does not indicate new episodes versus reruns. I used to use zap2xml and it would put an asterisk next to new episodes and they were indicated in the iOS client. I just started using Schedules Direct and was disappointed that the iOS client now has no indication of new episodes even though it clearly shows that information on the Web interface.

I previously used the -service.method=setting.m3u.update command to refresh my m3u, which occasionally change. Since the update it now throws the following error:

Since I upgraded to 7.0.0.241105 resume starts all files from the beginning. Have tried many files. Worked all right in previous version.
Using Kodi 21.1 resume works as expected. I prefer to use NPVR for playback, I like the simpler interface.
Updated from v6.1.5.231022 to v7.0.0.241105 today and have two new issues when playing recordings with the Windows client:
I normally use a mouse (it works well on the arm of the sofa, and doesn't require me to look at it to work it) and with the new version I have lost the short skips from the OSD, which I have set to 10 seconds. (FFRWBehavior is set to Short Skip, SkipRW/FFSeconds both set to 10). I can see a variable in the config called PlaybackOSD set to modern, but I don't know what that should be set to to revert to the previous OSD with short skip arrows (stop, <<, <, pause, >, >>).
Also, if the cursor is a tiny bit above the symbols, e.g.>>, when I click, the action is applied to the timebar, very annoying when that happens. When the cursor approaches from above, it has to be on the timebar before it works.
Resume doesn't work, it starts from the beginning but that is covered in another thread.
Subtitle colour issue is fixed as promised, thank you.
