After having two failures to record (figured out why, had nothing to do with NPVR), I visited and saw a new version. I normally wait months to update to make sure the bugs are worked out, this time I didn't. I have the issue others have posted that when I stop a recording, Resume takes me to the beginning. I see that is being worked on.
The other issue I have is much bigger - when playing recorded shows, the audio and video is not close to being in synch.
I opened one show in VLC and it played perfectly. I suspect the answer is going to be something like "you have to also update XXX and YYY". If so, please provide instructions that a non-techy could follow.
I use SD and changed the epg source to SD for each of 87 channels. The guide shows the correct channel name and number, but the show info is identical for each channel (all channels show the program from public broadcasting). I did a complete uninstall/reinstall to no avail.
One IPTV stream changes url link during commercial break which breaks stream. It happens with ffplay and is not fault of NextPVR. VLC is able to maintain stream, so I wonder if can use VLC to stream into NextPVR. I'm amateur who learned how to make extras xml with ffmpeg from this forum. I've experimented with VLC (see example below) but can't find right arguments to make it work. Does anyone know how?
I regularly seem to get this error, even when things are working well. I am assuming the recording was scheduled with my Hauppage tuner. Then, I changed to HD Homerun with separate antenna feed specifically for the channel as it was not tuning well on my Hauppage antenna feed. This would make the service think that the "channel was not found". I just want to confirm this. I have since added an RF filter and re-positioned my antenna to support all tuners with the same channels. I can almost get 40 mile range with my indoor antenna. So, hopefully this fixes the issue. I just wish the system would do a check and notify me ahead of time if possible that a device or channel is no longer available for a given timer under conflicts. Ironically, even my "discontinued" Recast device is failing to retrieve guide listings for some channels. So, Recast is no longer a backup for important football games. I guess I will be running two NextPVR devices now to have a backup.
I am just happy most of my recordings are working. I have been checking periodically with my cellphone that NextPVR service is running to try and catch things earlier before it misses multiple days of shows. If I set the service to start again after a failure, Windows still is not able to keep it running. I am not sure what settings to use for recovery tab to remedy this.

NextPVR Linux server is crashing when I change channels while watching live TV.
The client is uidroid on my NVShield and I change channels using Page UP/DN. I'm currently on the v7 release build. It crashed several times so I captured logcat logs that last time it crashed. After server restart I captured NextPVR logs.
I found someone with the same problem in the windows section, but the solution seems not to be a solution for me.
I updated the epg, but many channels show only "no listings". Picture attached.
