I've mentioned it before & I'm probably the only person who gets this problem but I would like others to comment on it so I may have a chance to resolve it.
At the end of a timeshifted program (actually at the end of the padding given to any program on timeshift) my gb-pvr setup doesn't jump automatically onto the next program. It just freezes. If I hit pause/play then it fires up. Another thing that gets it moving, funnily enough, is moving the mouse ....
I thought it was a laugh - but I've tried constantly jiggling the mouse at the end of the timeshift file and the program happily continues playback .... It doesn't matter what decoders I use, various system drivers (mouse; video; audio etc.), demuxs or the like.
I've tried diasabling girder, which is the only thing that I would have thought could cause such an issue - still the freezing. Also I've tried many screensaver/power settings (both XP & GB-pvr), killing excess services, the usually <everything> to no avail.
Does anybody have a clue how to work around this freezing issue - especially with this mouse moving phenomenon ....
I have a vsionplus DVB by twinhan, model VP 7041, its a USB DVB terrestrial box.
I dont know for sure if it works yet with GBPVR, so far, I have not installed any drivers for this box, and I cant seem to find any BDA drivers for my model.
I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction before I start installing drivers and software I dont need.
Thanks
Deus.
I have a FusionHDTV 5 lite card connected to digital cable in the USA. Using the Fusion software I can recieve analog and digital stations just fine. To get gbpvr to work with this card I assume I have to manually configure the tuning request table similar to other threads shown in this forum. The command string shown in this example is T:48,4,1 for OTA. Is there a reference on how to set this up for cable? Or at least a table showing what each parameter does? Thanks.
Great stuff, have everything working as I want, but have a problem or 2.
I use an extermal player Zoomplayer 4.x
Many of my movies are split up in 2 or 3 files. Using My Vidoes and selecting the folder it shows the filenames of the movie xample x-files_the_movie_part1.avi and the other x-files_the_movie_part2.avi
Question. I can only select one at a time so when (I use zoomplayer) so when i done playing the first one I have to select the next manualy to se the rest of the movie.
Before GBPVR I used myHTPC with the same Zoomplayer. In myHTPC i could set up so it would play all files in a specific folder. But I don't seem to find this option in my Videos settings.
Am I missing something or is it not an option (whisch is a shame)
just tought some might be interested in that. If you wish to enable DVB-T on this laptop cardbus just add these lines at the end of you bda.ini file.
It works fine for me, detected all the channels very well and records OK.
hope it helps . Maybe sub could include it in the next release ?

I got my MediaMVP all set up, never even loaded the haup software, I am running purely GBPVR with my PVR-150. My MVP is revision D1. Does the Hauppauge software load any new firmware or is it all just then Linux stuff? I don't want to load Haup stuff unless there is some firmware benefit.
Any idea when there will be support for the xguide, xrecord, etc... in the skin? I really like the look (even though most are not fond of the MS style)... but the plugins that aren't supported are a turn off.
Great job no matter... just curious - I wish I knew how to do this stuff so that I could help out.
