While looking for something else, saw all of these errors inthe recording service log.

And then a few more, see the attachment. I don't think it's causing any errors because all of the icons have already downloaded.
Also, sub, would it be possible to get some sort of config item, or database item to say when the EPG data was last updated. I'm looking at a plugin for showing information of the status of your EPG - sort of a mythtv rip off really., and it'd be nice to know when it last ran, without having to parse the log files.
Ii noticed someone else had this issue as well and you asked for his log. Is there a particular log of mine that would be helpful to post here? This is happening for both 'Music Library' and 'Music Player'. Basically after ever song is completed, the MVP drops connection (i am assuming), 'Checks for Servers', and starts GBPVR with the main menu.
If I run comclean the recordings do not show up in Recordings and/or XRecord as well the commercials are not cut out like they should.
Here is the results of my comclean.err after two runs of comclean:
Invalid range [-]
The system cannot find the file specified.
range [0:21:1-0:35:44] results in invalid [219821397-373748673] range

Alright everyone, I'm finally breaking down... I took 3 days of off and on research for setting up my hauppauge 250. I'm new to pvr's so spare my naiveness if I do show any.
To first start off, I installed the pvr driver's and codecs from their website and .net1.1. Then I installed wintv2000. Then I installed gb-pvr. When I first tried to start gb-pvr it bluescreened on me... actually i tried many different configs and it kept bluescreening. What I had found out is that I actually didn't do the above in the right order and something had screwed up. So the second time around I installed all drivers and softwares in the right order and I was able to get both to start. However, when I first started tinkering around with it I was able to only get the first 13 channels, which is basic cable (I am in the US and I have Comcast... blah!). After I played more with some configurations both wintv2000 and gb-pvr gave me black blank screens, but I could get audio. Now I'm really stuck... I tried to search this forum and another forum and I tried some methods that were suggested and it does not work. any suggestion anyone?
I was maybe thinking, would there be any conflicts with my radeon 9200se drivers? that would be one thing i can think of, or if i have gbpvr out of wack! please help, this thing is driving me nuts!
Sub, I noticed from your 9413 release notes that you have put in some better error handling and reporting for USBUIRT.
I'm still getting the problem whereby my USBUIRT quits responding (others have had this too and we've posted in a separate thread, but I can't be ar*ed to look for it at the moment).
Anyway - is there anything I can specifically look for, and in which logs to help track down my problem?
I'm only using USBUIRT as a sender, and it has the latest firmware and drivers.
Thanks.
P.S. The last releases have been excellent. Keep up the good work.
I'm using xrecord v40, bluemce2 skin, and gbpvr ver 94.13 on my mvp although the effect also happens on my pc
and all of a sudden I'm getting a blank space where a image should be on the recordings screen see the attached pic for an example, Anybody have any idea why this has started happening ?
I'm using an ATI Theater 550 - based card , PAL version.
For some reason, despite defining some of the quality settings to record at CVD resolution (i.e. 352x480 for NTSC or 352x576 for PAL) , it always records at full DVD resolution (720x576) , regardless of quality setting.
It may help to mention that I'm using the latest version, and that previously capturing had the nasty PAL capturing at NTSC resolution 720x480 bug.
I had disabled that by forcing in direct.ini to capture at PAL ForceStandard=16
And now it captures correctly at maximum res (but only that)
Hope you can verify such a problem and give a solution.
I have done a complete reinstall of GBPVR (9413). After setting up my recording source and EPG source i am trying to update my EPG guide (Zap2it) and am getting the following error:
9/26/2005 2:54:16 PM.265 ERROR [127] Error UpdateEPG()'ing: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

It would look like my username and password are incorrect, but when i go to the zap2it website i can log in without issue. As well, i have taken down my firewall just in case. I have had GBPVR up and running without issue over the last year, so this error is quite strange. Thanks in advance.
Is there a way to playback recordings in 'compressed time'. That is, play them back slightly faster than what was recorded (for example, a 1hr recorded show played back in 55minutes). I know the audio may start to sound funny when it's sped up too much, but there might be a point where it still sounds acceptable. My ultimate goal with this feature would be to watch a 1 hour show in 30 minutes (once all the commercials are removed and recording is sped up)!
