Hello again, i have a problem. I know, that it's possible to use the configure Tool to add some Tasks.
As a good HTPC i integrated a menu to start some games. This function works very good, but for one game.
It's Name is Grandia 2 for PC. If i want to start this game and the intro-Video want's to start, only the Message "Start Gameconfig.exe first" end the Gamestart aborts.
With Earth 2160 there are no problems.
I think that this has something to do with the uses Video-Codec by Grandia 2, or with some sort of Overlay using (i use VMR9 at GB-PVR).
I tried the option to hide GB-PVR if Application start and vice versa; nothing works.
Do you have any idea how i could solve this problem?
Is it possible to integrate two things within the TV-Module? I want to see an OSD for the Volume... if i raise or lower the Volume, i can't see anything. It's not the big Problem, but it were nice if you could integrate this one.
Another nice feature were be, if i could display the actual date and time, while watching tv.
Many thanks for reading my wish.
ps: please excuse my bad english, but i don't need to speak much english in my country... ^^
I bought 2 x Nova-T (90002) OEM cards about a week ago. I have just moved house and have no internet at home so its quite difficult to remember what is happening so I can check for fixes whilst Im at work. Anyway Ive brought in my entire gbpvr directory to see if anyone can help me at all...
My nova-t cards wont work. Im tuning to Hannington (my nearest transmitter) and Im in southern England. The cards are recognised by WinTV but no channels found. Ive tried DVB drivers 13 and 21 Hauppauge and browsing their forums. My PVR150 works perfect first time everytime. Ive tried only a single card as I understand there were originally driver issues with dual cards. Ive tried bdaScanType = 2. My firewall is turned off as this also may cause problems. I turn to gbpvr as Ive been using it for a while now and because of the logging system built into it.
I havent got any filters? - Ive seen this error in the config.exe.log
When I check my muxes, I only find Intervideo.
I purchased a WinTV PCR-150 to drop in my PC so I could enjoy some low cost pvr action till I can build my seperate PC. I haven;t installed it or its software yet, as I want to be sure that I can use the video out on my 9500 Pro to connect to my TV and be able to perform all the PVR functions and watch shows I've recorded.
The problem is I have my TV hooked up to the video out on my ATI-9500 Pro. My desktop displays fine, no problem. Bur when I attempt to play video through WinAMP or Media Player, everything is fine on my monitor, but where the video should be on TV, there is just a blank space. To be more specific, everything dsiplays on TV except for the actual video. I see the desktop, the controls, etc. but in the space where the video should be playing, its just blank.
Help?
(Note to MODs: Please feel free to delete my similar post in the Hardware forum, as at the time it seemed the most appropriate forum)
I'm using GB-PVR with ATI Theatre 550 Pro TV card.
I have two monitor, one is a 15" LCD @ 1024x768 and the other is a 32" LCD TV @ 1368x768.
Since my LCD TV is in 16:9 format, I would like to resize the 4:3 original TV pitcure to 16:9 to match my LCD TV.
However, I couldn't find any option in GB-PVR in doing that.
I have tried to use ffdshow to do the resize, however, after applied ffdshow resize, the output become crappy.
Any suggestion?
Within the last, say 5 versions, stability of GBPVR has seem to have gone way down so much so that I have created a MS Backup job to backup my database at 7pm just prior to when we start viewing. I view exclusively over the MVP.
I'm now running 94.12 and was 45 minutes into a recorded show over the MVP when, BLAM!, MVP CRASH!, for no reason. We weren't fast forwarding or anything. The database was lost again but spared by a restore. =)
I've included all of the logs for a post mortem. GL. And thanks!
I'm trying to get the conversion feature in GBPVR to work however, I'm tired of recording shows in order to test the conversion feature. I've gotten the Xvid Mpeg Codec conversion to work with video but no audio. I would like to maually execute GBPVRConvert.exe on shows I've previously recorded so that I can troubleshoot my no audio problem without continuously recording shows so that GBPVRConvert executes automatically after recording. The WIKI manual says that the correct way to run GBPVRConvert.exe is as follows:
GBPVRConvert <SOURCE> <DEST> <TYPE>
So is this example below the correct way to run this command manually?
