Having been using GB-PVR for a few weeks I'd thought I'd check out some of the plugins. Tried Music Albums 2, Shutdown and Weather but they all are not showing on the main menu
Following the wiki I put the dll's into c:\program files\denvnz\gbpvr\plugins
They show up under the plugins tab of the config app but not on the main menu.
And before you say noob, yes they are all ticked to show

*xguide - fixed Object reference not set to an instance of an object in Guide2Plugin.Guide.watchCurrentShow()
*xguide - skin now shows 3 full hours and 8 channels at a time.
*Xguide, xsearch, xrecord removed hardcoded widths use background now.
*xguide - sorted channel list
*xrecord-added category grouping can create a file called xcategories.txt in the gbpvr folder in
the form
Stargate SG-1=My Kid
A Baby Story=My Kid
Where My Kid is the category name.
*xrecord - in the skin /settings/SpecialElements/categories can enable it in title menu by default.
*xguide - reworked page up and page down logic should prevent some crazy behaviors.
*xguide - adding a caching hack so you dont have show information.
*xguide - fixed a lot of problems.
It'd really be nice if some of the configuration items that aren't related to the recording service could be changed from inside gbpvr.
Specifically, I'd love to be able to do the following, ranked according to my personal priority:
Switch decoders - for testing differences quickly
Change skins
Update EPG - I know you can do this from tray icon, but not without grabbing a keyboard or mouse
Add/update video and music libraries
Various other settings - FF/Rew, skip settings, net radio buffer, etc.
Change plugin settings - which probably requires API change to force re-init of plugin - a lot to ask, I know
It's nice that we have all the options we do in the config utility, but it's a very slow process if you have much config testing to do, like testing decoders. Also, any change means you have to grab the keyboard/mouse, which for those of us that have the pvr in our family rooms tucked out of sight and a TV as the only monitor, it's an additional pain.
I'm trying to use the new automatic transcoding feature to convert to 512 k/second WMV. I can see that there is a GBPVRConvert process running, but it's taking up 0-1% CPU time. The log file appears to show it starting up, but there's nothing after a line about connecting to the acces database. Attached is the log file. It seems as if it's sitting there waiting for something.
It also looks like it had the log file open for writing - I had to make a copy of it before it would let me rename it to .txt (as the forum will not let me upload .log files)
This is one of the wierdest error I have ever seen....everyhing in GB-PVR works fine but everytime i'm recording and press any button on the remote I get an error. I've tried everthing posted on these forum as well as clicking the fix button in config, still no luck
I have a Hauppauge remote that came with my WinTV 150PVR here is the error i get:

I upgraded to gbpvr 94.12 and the current release of xrecord and Video Archive plugin.
Using the Blue skin.
now if I look in Xrecord "Ready" Recordings, the recordings are all there but on most of them the "Recorded information" is not there. This information being the summary, start time end time and runtime.
If I go to "Videos" from the Blue skin all of that info is there (on recordings that is does not show in Xrecord).
I think this is just a setting somewhere I have not found, any ideas?
thanks
I have a VideoMate TV (PCI) card from Compro technology. I would really like to use the BG-PVR software instead of the rubbish on that they sent with the card.
I can't get the GB-PVR to work with my tv-card, has anyone got it to work or doesn't it support VideoMate?
