Hi Everyone,
Looking for some tried & proven quality settings that other users are already using. Just how high of a bit rate is possible that's also noticeable? I know I could try different settings forever, but thought other users could chime in on some quality settings that are working for them.
When I used to use BTV, I had a setting that recorded about 3.5 GB per hour. Right now, my best one is about 2.5 GB per hour. Doesn't look to bad, but can it be better?
If you have a setting that you like, can please post the whole setting? So that myself and others can just fill in the blanks in the config panel?
Thanks!
I have setup the C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\ChannelLogos folder and put the corresponding file named after what is displayed in config (KNOWC.gif) but still the logo does not show up.
Also for some reason comclean does not remove commercials, here is the contents of PostProcessing.bat:
v.362 2005-09-2

xguide-now loads proper defaults for padding
xguide-now determines the number of capture sources did not work right for 2 tuner machines.
Just little things I came across that come up often:
- Any Scheduler listign I edit has duplictaes set to True (no matter if you change it)
- If you clear out a conflict, sometimes a show remains alone and throws an index error
- either long names or an apostrophe can throw an error in Watched (I was try to drop a "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" as they swirtched the times)
Also, I never needed to before, but can you change priority by remote, or do you need to edit the page manually?
All this stuff is minor...just wanted to pass them along.

XRecord
XGuide
