I have a PC running GBPVR, and I can watch my recordings on my TV in the living room. I don't have a TV in my bedroom, but I do have a notebook that's fast enough to display mpeg2 streams. Would it be possible to create a kind of MVP emulator to run on PC's which acts like the MVP and just receives the stream and passes it on to the local PC?
I've had ths sort of error once before, when the Antivrus Scan kicked in (I think). I know it's a long shot ..but any ideas why or how to fix it? (Error Image Attached)
Cheers
k.
Update: This is repeatable. Every time I hit back/exit, it jumps out of GBPVR and the MVP goes looking for servers indefinitely, at which point it throws up the error on my PC. Same error every time.
How do I get gbpvr to launch with my hauppaugge remote? I can not find a button that will allow it to launch. If I launch it with my mouse I can do everything else with the remote. Any help would be appreciated.
well ive pretty much done my pictures version 3, the current version im running now is very stable, there arent any bugs that im aware of (this is a different version than posted in the forum). and i only have one more thing to do, the music playlists.
so well here are the options
a) no playlists at all, let the user use a music plugin to handle this
b) keep it how it is in my pictures 2.x (ie a seperate filelist that you can switch too)
c) have a master playlist and play this everytime randomly (ie the songs are shuffled)
d) define a music folder and do the same in c) but with every music file in that folder (could be slower, would need an extra thread, c is a nicer programming option but d might be a better user interface option)
e) have a "folder.m3u"/".wpl" playlist and if you start that directory (or in its sub, it would do a recursive search until it finds a playlist) and then play that (probably in a random order aswell)
f) have an option when you are in fullscreen/slideshow to start a playlist from a list of available playlist. ie you push a button to bring up a popup menu (similar to the one in my videos) and it shows the options "Select Playlist", "Stop", "play" etc).
if you have any other ideas let me know, i probably like f) the best.
Have just done a fresh install of 0.93.10 with 2 Hauppauge winTV nova-t cards. Everything seems to work OK except sound on LiveTV. The sound cuts on and off rapidly (2/3 times a second) and is impossible to listen to. Recordings work OK. Sound works OK on recordings. Works OK if I use timeshift mode. Works OK in Hauppauge WinTV 2000 application. Have updated sound drivers for onboard sound on my MSI K7N2 Delta2 LSR motherboard. Any ideas anyone ?

Hi,
here is my language.xml, the most of it comes from the original translation from
Dottore (thnx for it at this point), but it contains several bugs and some text
wasnt translated.
Now that I have got 4 MVP's I would like the option for multiple MVP's to be synchronised to receive the same music or video stream. This would be great for parties!
