Is it possible to have the EPG copied when using multiples of the same capture card? Right now it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to have the EPG processed when setting up a new verion of GBPVR from scratch. Seems redundant to do that each time I add the same card. Thanks for great work on the program.
I have a very basic setup. Just a coax cable going from splitter to PVR-250 card. I can watch tv, just cant change channel.
When I use the up and down arrows, the little channel name and description overlays at bottom change, but the channel doesnt change.
Also, entering 22 and then pressing OK doesnt change the channel either, it just tells me what is on channel 22. Its like GBPVR thinks the channel has changed, but it hasnt.
I tried using the 'direct access option' but nothing seems to work? I also put the .ini settings from the WIKI site into the remote and tried that but it didnt work either?
To enable the OTA HDTV portion of the Wonder, you need to add this to the bda.ini file:
[ATI DTV WONDER]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
FILTER_TUNER=ATI DTV Wonder Digital BDA Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=ATI DTV Wonder Digital BDA Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT= BDA MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
Is it possible to have the recorded files to have the name of the program and episode title if any. At present I see the files recorded with only the program name.
Thanks.
Hi, trying to setup my ATi T550P to record from a composite source, rather than TV channels via an aerial. Using GB-PVR 92.11.
Set Source to 'Composite, External Tuner' and no tv aerial connected. So all channels just display the composite source. When trying to record the composite source on say BBC1 with no EPG data by timeshifting LiveTV, the recording gets split into 1min chunks instead of a single file.
Edit: nevermind, think I've solved it by updating to 93.10 and adding a channel manually instead of recording off a real channel like BBC1.
Is there a way to have all 3 of these work together properly?
When I use ShowAnalyzer in my postprocessing.bat, comclean screws up.
I get this every time, on every recording.
Here's my comclean.err

Just wanted to advise you that there are 2 issues with tuning TV channels on the ATI Theater 550 in New Zealand (PAL B)
1. The Tuning Assistant is not detecting all the working channels, and the displayed frequency is wrong. It appears this utility is simply a front-end to the automatic tuning capability of the 550 card so I'm guessing this is more of an issue with the card itself.
2. Entering manual frequencies into gbpvr in place of channel numbers only works for the vision but the nicam audio does not work.
My workaround is to install MediaPortal and manually define TV channels in that application, then use gbpvr Tuning Assistant which will then detect all the channels and nicam works. This obviously shows my bias towards gbpvr
I am trying to get DVR-MS Playback working on my MVP
Ive got the latest version of GBPVR installed and .wmv playback is working without any problems on the mvp
Ive also installed powervcr II, as if i have read the forum correctly this will install the cyberlink mux?
On selecting a dvr-ms file for playback transmvp runs and playback starts, but there is no picture and occasional sound.
Ive rendered the dvr-ms file in graphedit and its shows mainconcept(hauppauge) mpeg video decoder and for audio, mainconcept(hauppauge) mpeg audio decoder, is this correct?
Hi everyone. I feel like I'm soooo close to getting this to work, I can taste it. Please help if you know what I'm doing wrong.
So I can view live TV on the PC using GB-PVR. I've disabled the two hauppauge services, and can get the GB-PVR menu up on the connected TV set, but when I click on "Live Tv" with the remote for the MVP, I get a black screen with the message:
"No tuners are available to watch the request channel. You can choose to watch one of the currently recording programmes: "Dont Watch TV".
I can watch pre-recorded videos just fine, but cannot get live TV on the TV.
