Hi,

I just upgraded from 91.. to the 9208.msi version. Now, when I click on Live TV, it says there is no input source. So, I launch the most recent version of WinDVR that I have been using and sure enough, it needs to be rebooted and I have to select S-Video as the source again.

Then, when I launch Live TV from the main menu, it gives me the same error. When I go back to WinDVR, I have to reboot and reset it to S-Video again.

If I don't use Live TV, then it will record a show with no problem. It is only when I use Live TV that the problem occurs.

Any chance I could get an older version in the 91 range or a fix.

sub you're going to hate this wish but anyway - wouldnt it be cool if in the tv guide there was a little window displaying what is currently on the selected channel. this would only work using the live preview mode, so only on software decoders (perhaps xcard, i think that was added in last release). just a quick way to see whats on each channel, and if you like what you see you can play it, either just entering fullscreen live preview mode or switch to timeshifting mode.

now that would be cool, and a lot of work, but cool, and never going to happen, but cool...

This was mentioned in this thread but does not seem to have been picked up. The dates in recordings ->reoccuring are set to 01/01/2001 whilst in the pending menu looks OK.

Any ideas? Ignore?

I think GBPVR is a great idea and I've tried to live with it across a few versions, but it regularly get crashes at the start of recordings and so I can't rely on it and so I don't use it which is a shame. I appreciate its freeware and there's no way that sub can support every hw/sw combination but I thought I'd see if anyone can give me a clue where to look:

It crashes with what an old windows lag would call a GPF with the following info:

I am having troubles burning my recordings to dvd. Every thing that I record at low quality is too large for a dvd.

Is there any way I can record this to a less large file type then MPEG?? I hate waiting an hour plus to convert every recording to DVD.

When I click on the name of a comic strip to read, I get this error message:

After clicking the "OK" button, I am back at the main screen.

I just installed the weather plugin & set it up, every time I go to the weather section I get a 'Sorry - Unable to retrieve information' message.

I'm on the latest version of GB-PVR, and I can't get the "Icon View" to work (I've never tried it before). I put in my homer .jpeg (with the .jpeg name changed to "default.jpg") in my Simpsons folder and yet I see no change. No hilarious Homer photo replacing my folder. I'm guessing I need to have a certain size, or apspect ratio for the photos to work correctly? Hmm. Any suggestions? Thanks to all.

Baffled...same thing happens w/ both built-in muysic and My Music. No matter how I set it up (random, playlists, play dir, etc), it only repeats the same song.

Any ideas?
