I have a strange problem,
i have HAP 150 card with the 45 keys remote.
the problem that i have is:
when i download the EPG, i can see that it reads it well, but it gives incorrect numbers to the statations, and if i choose from epg a program on fox, it moves me to mtv (i.e. only).
i don't know how to work this around.
can anyone please advise if they had the same problem how did they fix it?
thanks.
I am using MVP with a Plextor ConvertX PX TV402U tuner. When viewing Live TV or Recordings on my PC monitor FF and Skip work fine, but on my TV screen the audio part works but the video picture freezes. I am using a 45 button Hauppage remote, and in DVD and REMOTE Config there is a box (FIX HAUPPAGE REMOTE SETTINGS). When I click on this I get a message (For these changes to take effect, you need to restart the Hauppage IR software. You can do this by clicking Start, All Programs, Hauppage WinTV, Restart IR). Evidently I do not have Hauppage WinTV on my computer. Could this be my problem?
Thanking you in advance for any help.
Also your website states that you accept donations, but I was unable to determine how to do this.
I have recently bought a Plextor COnvertX PVR PX-TV402U TV-tuner, and i got InterVideo WinDVR 5 with it, but i don't really like that program and it's features, and i've tried several others now, GB-PVR being my best choice..
But!
I can't seem to get started tuning.. I've tried using o2grabber and selected DK and the channels that i have on my TV network called "GVDnet", but when i goto the TV-Guide and select any of the programs the screen is snowed, or blank as someone would say.
It worked fine in WinDVR with scanning channels, it found all of my channels, but of course i had to filter the duplicates and select the best ones out.
Thank you for reading my thread.
Yes i have read the quickstart guide.
I have bought some new hardware, and are planning to do a clean OS and GB-PVR install. I will use the computer for GB-PVR only.
Currently I am using Win 2000 professional, but I also have XP Professional. Are there any views on which OS I should use for my GB-PVR box? Are there any advantages of using XP instead of Win 2000?
Got my Nova card setup well, I have setup all the channels and can watch them fine, got the remote all sorted too.
But I have a problem with recording. When it starts to record something it says its recording in the status window, creates a folder where it should stick the recording and that stays blank. It carries on to say its recording far past the program. During the recording I cannot watch the channel, and after the program has finished I cannot watch any live tv. Restarting the recording service doesnt help, it just says that its still recording that program.
Only way to beable to watch TV is to restart the machine.
Just installed GBPVR for the first time and can't get the channels to detect in the config app using my Technotrend budget 1300 (-T) (same as the old Nova-T [909]).
The log says it can't find any MUX filters but I have both WinDVD 5 installed along with cyberlink powerdvd 5. it then says it can detect my -T card but I think this may be caused by the failure to detect the MUX filters.
How can I find out if the MUX filters are installed? I assume they probably are but the log says they aren't!?!?!
I've attached the config log FYI if that helps at all...
how does gbpvr interact with transcoding mvpsoftware to push the video to the mvp. Futhermore is their no other software such as videolan etc, that can push video to the mvp?
