Is there any reason why you can't used over writing buffer mode in memory or automatic generate new file at end of that show or movie and auto del the pervious recording in stead it of recording many hundreds of Megabytes to Gigabytes over time a several hour period in both Windows and Linux.

Also pleases address next show info with right show or movie info and player time is set as 24 hour

Is there any chance that madVR will work in V5? Apparently it's the holy grail of picture quality if you've some gpu horsepower to spare.

Any thoughts on why the guide is blank and crashes the app when navigating the guide? EPG updated.

Also, I am new to the app on AppleTV - during live TV should there be a timeline/progress bar? I do not see one.

Hi,

When i installed NextPVR for the first time, i enabled the option to "Use S01E01 file naming format is possible".

It didn't work well because i had mistake (bad episode numbers if i remember).

So, because it doesnt' seems very important for me, i disabled this option by unchecking it in settings :

[ATTACH=CONFIG]47504[/ATTACH]

But, some of my new recording always have a bad naming with S0xE0x format :

[ATTACH=CONFIG]47505[/ATTACH]

This is how on of these programs look like in EPG :



Does it mean the setting hasn't be saved ?

Is it possible to schedule a recording and then start watching the recording prior to it completing? Practical example...record a 1 PM football game...start watching it on delay at 2 PM (this way, I can skip all the commercials) and then finish the game live when the recording catches up. What seems to happen now, I will start watching at 2 PM and have one hour's worth of recording, but after the one hour's worth of recording it stops and I will have to restart watching the recording again to get any new progress. Hope this makes sense.

There appears to be no way to have saved searches or browse by category. Any plans to add anything like this? Thanks.

I started recording the Southern 500 yesterday at the scheduled time but stopped it about 20 minutes in for the ran delay. I restarted the same recording from the guide at about 9:45pm and went to bed after Stage 1.

I did not get the complete race. The log shows some sort of error that terminated the recording:

Any known conflicts with MagicJack and NVPR? I just put a MagicJack on my network and started having issues with some of my NPVR4 devices, specifically items on the WIFI. Streams hanging, audio/video sync issues etc... The one common is that they are all on the 2.4G band. The only wireless device right now on the 5G band is my person phone, and it seems to be fine, but I don't use it very often. Hard wire seems to be unaffected.

I was just wondering if anyone else who used NPVR and MagicJack has had any issues.

Hi, when I upgraded to the latest version 4.2.4 I found that the television now had a lot of block effects occurring. I have windows 10 and an AVERMedia dual DVB-T card. Now I know the first answer will be that the television signal is poor going into the AVERMedia dual dvb-t card but my Sony Bravia television in my lounge room is working normally. And yes, I've checked the cable to the antenna and nothing has changed. Is there a way to tweak NextPVR so that the signal - live-TV dropouts decrease? The dropouts are just bad enough now for this to be very distracting and causing me to search for a solution.

I am a newbie on how to make a m3u playlist useing nextpvr i have 5 analog channel i would want to use on vlc thanks for any help
