The problem i have got is when playing divx/xvid films with 5.1 ac3 audio i get sync issues, but if i convert these to just stero ac3 they are fine.
I do not get this problem when using the hauppauge services.
Any ideas

This is my first post. I tried to search the forum for this problem but I could not find anything however, being a newbie......
I am using GBPVR with much pleasure on a VIA C3 system running windows 2000 used as a central file/mail/web/UPnP server. There is no monitor connected to that system. All recording control is done through the web based scheduler. Playback goes through a UPnP enables Philips LS400 networked media player connected to a TV.
When I (infrequently) reboot the server running GBPVR and a scheduled recording is started it defaults to NTSC and no sound. Only when running some other applications after the reboot (schedulingassistant?) the recordings are done in PAL and there is sound.
When connecting a monitor and running GBPVR after the reboot with live TV it also starts in NTSC and no sound.
The country settings in the recording device is done correctly
My capturedevice is a Hauppauge PVR150MCE with the latest drivers freshly installed
I did put logging on verbose but no obvious message found
Anyone a suggestion what I should do to get a good recording without having to manually intervene?
I'm new to GBPVR and this is the only system (meedio, MythTV, MediaPortal) that works for me with my Nova-T 90002 card in the UK. Everything seems to work very well except when I record it only seems to capture a few frames a second. WinTV2000 records fine but I want to use GBPVR!!
I have a SATA drive on a ASUS Pundit 3.4Ghz (I think) Celeron.... I can playback DVD's, backed up DVD's as MPEG, I can watch TV via GBPVR and WinTV2000 records ok too... I just can't get GBPVR to work for recording.... Any ideas.... this is running on WinXP Pro SP1a on a fairly clean install....
i've been trying to setup gbpvr now for a while with different versions and was never able to do it. i always get an error on setting up the xmltv plugin.
i get the following error when i try to update the epg: Failure in ChannelFactory:toreChannels(): Fehlt

the other "error" i get is when i open the "recording status" window, it gets collapsed and has only the size of the window header bar
why do i have to use epg at all? i only want to watch tv, so is it possible to setup the tv (hauppauge pvr 350) without epg?
i am having problems with gbpvr crashing out when a recording is due to begin. I get a gbpvr recording service crash out error and the file that is recorded stys at 0kb. Any ideas what might be casuing this. I have reinstalled the lastest release. My set up uses MVP through a router :confused:
A while ago I asked (wishlist) if we could add the ability to move (File) videos to different directoies.
I was told to use xrecord since it has this feature but I don't know how to make it go. There is an archive option that works but I was more looking for this option in the Videos area.
I'm having a difficult time changing to channel 292. I'm not sure if there are any other channels with issues, but so far, this is it. It tries to change the channel to 2121 instead of 292. I can successfully change the channel using the dtvcl.exe command line tool, which is what I'm using for my source in GB. I read somewhere else about testing using notepad.exe and it returns 2121.txt.. Any ideas why GB is changing 292 to 2121?
Any help is greatly apprcieciated. I will keep researching and let you know if I come up with anything.
