  Check email plugin
Posted by: pcostanza - 2005-04-23, 10:16 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Is there any way to install the Check Email plugin to another directory than c? It doesn't give you a choice to change directories and I can't get it to work since my GB-PVR is on a D directory.

  MVP Menu screens sizing clipped
Posted by: garetmax - 2005-04-23, 09:18 PM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (8)

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the GB-PVR menu screens showing on my TV where the bottom is cut off.

I'm using Tipstir's latest X-Media MVP skin and v91.12 GB-PVR. My TV is a standard tube 32" Toshiba.

For example, the main screen shows everything except the portion below the "X-Series" text. This happens on all of the menu screens, however the videos display perfectly on the TV and are not cut off.

I don't have any of the sizing problems when just viewing GB-PVR on my computer but only when using through the MVP.

Any ideas?

Thanks Smile

  GBPVR Messages
Posted by: KingArgyle - 2005-04-23, 08:14 PM - Forum: Developers - Replies (2)

Sub, in GBPVR what does WM_APP message 8003 (32771 dec) correspond to? I know this is a GBPVR specific message, but before I go capturing it for some no focus background remote stuff, I was curious what it was.

Thanks.

  Sapphire Theatrix greenlighted?
Posted by: jetjaguar - 2005-04-23, 07:40 PM - Forum: Hardware - Replies (81)

I know the ATI Elite 550 is now supported, but I haven't seen anyone explicitly say they're successfully using the Sapphire Theatrix 550. Should it work? Will it show up in the list of cards to choose from in GBPVR setup? I don't mind being the first one to buy the card with the express purpose of using GBPVR, I just would like to know if there is some known reason that it would not work.

thanks,

Peter

  Video playing too fast?
Posted by: UKGuest44 - 2005-04-23, 06:54 PM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (3)

Hello,

I'm trying to play some avi files. Most of them work fine, however a few which I have the video plays really fast, and the audio gets left behind. They both start at the same time, but after a few seconds, the video is way ahead of the sound. And as it continues the video gets more and more ahead.

This isnt an issue with the MVP but rather with the transcoding. The MPEG which is generated itself has these issues when played on the computer.

Some avi files transcode fine, but some of them have this problem.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks a lot Smile

  access GB-PVR from MVP
Posted by: danrohlfing - 2005-04-23, 05:16 PM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (6)

I have configured GB-PVR on my PC and it works great! Today, I installed the MVP and have successfully used it to access recorded video on my PC. But, I was under the impression that I could access PVR from the MVP box and schedule/watch live tv from the TV vs. the PC.

Was I mistaken?

Help!

pb if same channel on 2 cards
Posted by: tybreizh29 - 2005-04-23, 05:01 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

Hi,
I have a PVR-250 (#1) and a Nova-T (#2). 3 channels are common on both cards.
On the TV guide I have 3 channels with the guide, 3 other blank. Why?
I'm unable to select the PVR-250 for recording, I always get the Nova
(I guess it has to do the the guide pb).
How can I get informations about card in the guide.
I tried to record 2 channels out of the 3, but the status says #1 sleep, #2 record, and gbpvr freeze...
Thanks for helping
Bzh

  RecordingFactory.loadSchedule() every 6 seconds
Posted by: bdshaffer - 2005-04-23, 04:54 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Edited to remove recording factory logging which was not the problem.

When I use GBPVR to watch an .iso, I get choppy playback. When I use PowerDVD I get choppy playback untill I close GBPVR. If GBPVR is closed, playback is fine in PowerDVD. I'm using the Cyberlink decoder in both cases. I have tried other decoders with the same results.

This is on a 2.8GHz P4 so I don't suspect a slow system.

Any pointers are appreciated.

  Recording from Xbox

Hey, I got a Hauppauge 250MCE Roslyn and have it installed. I have my xbox hooked up to the RCA jacks on the card and also have the cable hooked up. I made these to pictures to ask some questions. Please ignore #4.

Quick Question - XML for the channel number
Posted by: jsteele - 2005-04-23, 03:53 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

In Live TV when you enter the channel number directly it displays in a small popup in the lower left corner. In which XML is this function defined? My wife would like it larger and moved to the upper left of the screen where our TV had it located.

Thanks.
