Error unable to load dll (hcwIRBLAST.dll)
Posted by: bradmar - 2005-04-17, 03:05 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

Hi all,

Everytime I try to use live TV I get this error?

I am new so any help would be great.

Shows are recording fine but I cannot view live TV?
Not even on the WinTV app

I just got the HP 250 and GB-PVR software?
The Card worked fine before the GB software but I am not sure what else I have done to screw up the live TV

Should I re-install from scratch?

Brad

Guide2J - Recordings on One Channel
Posted by: knickerblogger - 2005-04-17, 02:55 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

I used Guide2J, and it seems to not use the IR Blaster. Everything recorded from the channel I had last used, not the channels they were suppose to be on.

  live tv and recordings problems
Posted by: rjaeger1 - 2005-04-17, 03:39 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (9)

Just updated to the newest version of GBPVR (91112b or whatever it is) from .90*. Only problem that I had with the .90 version was the audio which sounds like robots are talking - kind of strange - i read somewhere to disable live preview mode which I will try when I can get to the PC. This problem still exists for me on this newest version so it might have been introduced from an earlier version. Again, it may be my configuration and I will check when I have a chance.

The other problem I'm having is when I try to watch recorded shows. Usually the shows start playing but when I attempt to go to the menu, it freezes - everytime with every show. Have had no luck with it at all. This bug is new for me with the version that is available now (the .9**12b) so I thought I would see if anyone else has had the same problem or sub can enlighten me to see what is wrong.

Here are a few logs from a few different shows where it froze:

  Xrecord Question.
Posted by: Gunr - 2005-04-17, 12:42 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (6)

Ok I just installed a new Hard drive. I moved all my video files to this hard drive. I then ran config and set My video and Xrecord to point to the new locations.

But now Xrecord does not show the recorded programs in the ready menu? Any ideas on how I can get the shows I have recorded back into the Ready menu option?

Where does xrecord store this data?

Sorry if this is the wrong Forum wasn't sure which to post it in.

Thanks in advance,

Gunr

  2nd Capture Source
Posted by: groover km - 2005-04-17, 12:24 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (7)

Does anyone have any advice on how to add a second capture source?

I have a PVR-150 with an 'extra' A/V bracket; I use this second composite input for a VCR that works fine in WinTV2000 when switching sources, but I've tried adding it in the config as a second source and I can't figure it out -

I even tried adding a dummy channel to it called VCR and selecting it in the mini-guide, but no go.

How do I select a second capture source from within GBPVR, specifically over an MVP?

Thanks in advance!

How do I show plug-ins on the skin?
Posted by: Jester - 2005-04-16, 10:30 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

I must be missing something. I have loaded several skins but i am not able to see all the buttons on the main screen for the features the authors report. For instance, the shutdown plugin is activated in my cofig but I can't find the button on the main menu of the skin.

I can't play DVD's because I can't launch it in GB-PVR

  Player status of GB-PVR
Posted by: rroiss69 - 2005-04-16, 10:17 PM - Forum: Wishlist - No Replies

Hi,
I really like the useful tool recstatus.exe for retrieving the recording status. Is there any tool for getting the playback-status.
I am using my own made standby/hibernation utility and therefore I would need the information of the playback-state.

If there is no tool available, is there a way to check the state on my own. Any API-Call or Interface to GB-PVR ?

Thank You and Regards,
Roman
