Just wondering, in NZ, should I be getting more channel icons at all ? I seem to have them for TVNZ1, TVNZ2, Three, Bravo, Three Life, The Edge TV, Te Reo and thats it for dvb-s. I seem to recall, quite probably incorrectly, that they all showed up in v4. Do I need to do something with Schedules Direct or something ? I don't have any kind of account with them.
I'm stuck in a rock and a hard place here so lets go. My issue is that the Ceton drivers under Windows don't work but the Linux drivers do. I was going to use nextpvr 4 on Windows but since the drivers don't work I have to use nextpvr 5 under linux or find a way to make the Ceton card communicate over the network to a windows box. Is this the wrong forum to ask this question?
I'm trying out NextPVR again but for some reason LiveTV playback is stopping after several (I'd go so far as saying 7) minutes.
It's a brand new build of Windows 10 Home (64bit) and fully updated. I've grabbed the latest NextPVR v5 release today (but was having issues with the last build - I've been working on this for a few days now).
I've attached the logs - each time the issue happens I'm seeing:
2019-08-25 09:08:25.734 [ERROR][39] Failed to open rolling file (C:\Users\Public\Videos\live-E4-6644-14.ts): System.Xml.XmlException: Root element is missing.

From the resolution on the last link, I've confirmed that the tuners are plugged into USB3 ports on the back of my Intel NUC (NUC5i5RYH).
I have the latest Hauppauge drivers from WinTV8.5 and I know that the DVB-T tuner and signal is good as it all works fine in the same hardware when I swap out the SSD for one running LibreElec and TVHeadend.
[I'm hoping to use NextPVR as my DVB-S tuner doesn't have working Linux drivers yet].
I've tested with the tuners (DVB-T & DVB-S) individually and for what it's worth, I also tested on my laptop and had exactly the same issue & errors.
Do you have any thoughts on what may be causing this as I'm running out of ideas?
I have been recording a series of motor races off Freesports this year using my satellite tuner.
This channel is not broadcast from my local transmitter on Freeview. (Brierley Hill UK)
Up until about a 1 or 2 weeks ago it worked just fine, but now I do not have a signal!!
I have tried tuning the tuner card to the built in sat tuner file Astra 2E but it does not find the channel.
I have a Samsung TV with a Sat tuner, so I tried to tune in all the Sat channel (687) but I could not find Freesports in the guide.
I switch the tuner to FreeSat and re-tuned and it found the channel on 252 very quickly...
Why can't NPVR find this channel.
Do I need a new tuner file just for UK FreeSat to be able to find it or has the existing file got a missing frequency for this channel.
Ammended:
I just looked in King of Sat and found this Station has moved to;
Astra 2E (28.2°E), 2019-08-21
FreeSports HD switched to DVB-S2 at 11426.00MHz, pol.V SR:29500 FEC:8/9 PID:2313[MPEG-4] /2314 English.
The 0282.ini file does not include info for this the only two are as follows
37=11426,H,27500,23,DVB-S,QPSK
38=11426,V,27500,23,DVB-S,QPSK
if I want to add 37A=11426,?,29500,??,???-?,QPSK
what do I replace the ? with
Help please
Many thanks

This is probably me just not knowing what I am doing, but I am having an issue with getting the Mapping field to populate on Edit Channel Details.
I have zap2xml running in a Docker on unRaid and it is creating the xml file successfully. The file is sitting in my appdata/zap2xml share which is a public share.
I have added this share as an XMLTV lineup. However, whenever I try to map channels to the xml file the Mapping dropdown is blank.
In general, what would cause the Mapping field to not be populated from the xml file?
Timeline:
12:30 pm: TV show started recording. (will end at 2 pm)
12:35 pm (5 min into recording): I start playing the recording from beginning
12:40 pm: The play suddenly stops. (This is at 5 min mark). I resume playing at 5 min mark. At this time, the TV show has 10 minutes of recording
12:45 pm: The play stops again.
How to fix so that it continues to play while recording?
PS: I tried live TV but it would not go back to the beginning of show.
I am running NextPVR on windows 10 - 64 bit. My transmitter is Meridian Hannington.
I have a WinTV Dual HD and have both Hauppage WinTV software installed as well Next PVR.
Channel 726 on this transmitter is BBC Radio Solent. If I use the Hauppage Win TV software the channel plays normally.
If I use NextPVR the sound is like chipmunks and sounds as though it is double speed (or similar) and then there are gaps before the chipmunks resumes.
Channels 722, 723, 724 and 727 demonstrate the same abnormality. Others may do so as well.
As the sounds is right through other software using the same hardware I believe this is a problem with NextPVR.
I realise the explanation is lacking and I am not sure logs would aid fact finding.
