I have tried to install plugins using the instructions and have failed miserably. I do not see the buttons on the front page. Can Someone lead me through the process please.
I reference to configuring the CUSTOM1/CUSTOM2 recording settings: If I wish to archive to DVD what I've recorded w/GB-PVR, can I get some recommendations from everyone for getting the absolute best quality before burning to DVD. Thanks.
I'm trying to get my capture cards to all have an unshared IRQ. By juggling PCI slots, I have my two PVR cards with unique IRQs but am having trouble getting the two DVB-T into any slots where they don't share with either one of the PVRs or with onboard devices.
Obviously being PnP devices, I can't uncheck the 'Use automatic settings' box in Device manager. Anybody know of any way of changing this stuff manually?
Im looking at getting a Asus Pundit-R as the first stage to my HTPC and initially run it without a PVR-250 at first and just get it of the ground as a music/picture library using the tv-out of the Pundit-R.
I was unsure of what CPU to go for though as I want to keep it running Cool & Quiet so was thinking of a Intel Celeron® D320 2.4GHz. But what I need to know is when I do add the PVR-250 and try and convert it into a full PVR system will that CPU have enough power to do all the timeshifting etc?
It will have 512mb of memory & a 7,200rpm 120gig Drive by the way too...
I'm pretty pleased with GB PVR, but would love to have some sound on either live tv or recorded tv, as currently I have none!
I've tried all the different mpeg decoders on my system, no difference.
I can play mp3s without problems.
Sound works on MediaPortal.
I'm recording from the composite input and the audio input on the Pvr250 card.
I don't really know what to try next, please can anyone help?
Not sure how hard this would be, but the info could be imported from the TV guide, and the show description (or portion of it) used in the save filename.
Sure, having the date works, and the show's title as the folder name is great, but I sometimes get 7 or 8 episodes of a show. Some from season 1 some from season 2, and so on, and it's a bugger search out the actual show's sub title/info.
It would be so much nicer for creating those multi-episode DVD's, using the show's title/info for chapters etc.
I have recently got my MediaMPV working (after fighting with Mcafee IS Suite 7) and am keen to get live TV over it. Was refered to GB-PVR and like the look of it but my Medion TV_Tuner 7134 is not listed.
The other day I upgraded to version 9108 . After that every show I recorded has alot of snow on it. After I found this out I tried watching live tv and noticed that all channels are now full of snow, I can see the tv pretty good and the audio is fine its just not very good quality. I uninstalled gbpvr and reinstalled a older version that used to work perfectly and it too was showing snow.
At first I assumed I was having a problem with 9108 but since the older version is doing the same thing it must be something on my system. Anyone see this before/have any ideas on a fix?
I don't want to reinstall windows right now, thats kind of a pain but I will do it if I have to
Have a message you previously typed pop up in a panel on the main menu at a set time/date:
"friends birthday-call him"
"go get kids"
etc.
If it had a snooze as well that would be awesome! If it was possible to tie this in to some of the calendar programs out there, even better, but I'd be content with having to type in my own reminders.
