ATI released new drivers today: ATI Drivers

Will gbpvr now provide audio? The drivers supposedly require XP SP2. I don't have XP SP2, and don't plan to add it unless gbpvr works.

Will I be able to use a 150mce for recording shows and watching live tv or will I have to get another tuner card? Will the pci-win-tv-go card work for just watching the live tv?

I just install Guide2J but some chanel are missing and some other who are disable in the config apears in guide2j, how can i put this the same as my TV Guide?

On my computer I have several accounts set up. Everytime I install a new version of GBPVR, it reinstalls the software for every account I have (when I log into that account). I could live with that except for the fact that the install probram looks for the previous version installed. Is there any solution for this?

As it is now, a "this timeslot" scheduled recording will record any episode of that show that happens within +/- 2 hours of the scheduled time, without regard to the day of the week. See

There are some who would prefer an option for the timeslot to be limited to the specific day, i.e. Monday at 6.

That way, scheduling a show at 6 on Monday would not also schedule the same show (regardless of whether it's the same episode) if it were to be on at 8 on Wednesday.

Perhaps a weekday option, as well?

Been looking at this MVP for a while now (though recent comments about a new version coming out are holding me back). I gave up on a video sender - but contend if quality was better that would be my best option.

What I really haven't been able to learn is the type of functionality I can expect the MVP to provide with MP3s. I think this will be the primary WAF issue to justify buying a unit. I want to check out the Mp3 functionality more, as I'd probably use it more for this than video.

How attractive/useable is it to play MP3s? I have my stuff organized Artist->Album in one giant folder. Mostly I play my stuff over a couple of iTunes playlists on random.

Can I use these Playlists?

I understand there is no visualization available, is this annoying?

Finally I recall a comment buried on Amazon that the MVP can only support a list of songs defined in length (1000?). Any comment on this?

I really do appreciate your feedback on this. I am looking forward to getting GBPVR setup for pvr and mp3s.

I have a few recurring recordings set up. (Note I am typing from memory).

Under recordings view where it says 'season record' i think and then clicking on 'recurring' option it shows 'record once' for these recordings. Shouldn't it show that it's recording by season?

Also in this view, it doesn't say what time the recording is. it shows title and channel but I don't also to know what time teh show starts for the recording.

Is there any updated or addtional info for the video Archiver, stuff like exactly how this plug-in is installed, and where the files should be in the directory so I could troubleshoot. I installed the plug-in and it only work once, and will not work again. Selecting a show to archive, nothing happens only displaying "archiving so and so show". I also select it to archive shows over 1 day old and I've been seeing a message everyday saying "archiverutility.exe - common language. "aplplication has generated an excepting that could not be handled. process id=0xcc8 (3272, Thread id=0xf20 (3872).
so I'm not sure if it didn't install correctly.

I have three hard drives.
c-drive where gb-pvr is located
d-drive is a 200gig where I set up to put all the archiving.
g-drive is where Gb-pvr records the shows to.

other then that, It will play and delete the show files normally.

I did downloaded and installed the neccessary files and shown the plug-in where they are at.

Hi guys, any help much appreciated on this.

When I select "Live TV" on my PC I get "Error: No connection could be made as the target machine actively refused it". I get this with VMR9 and Overlay. GBPVR hangs if I select VMR7.

Before I installed GBPVR I uninstalled all the Hauppage software except for the driver (as viewed in Windows program remove/install). Was this correct?

I was using all the latest Hauppage software from their website and XP SP2.

I get this error (see below) after press OK in the config util. I started getting this error today after doing an upgrade from GBPVR09010.msi. After serveral attempts to 'repair' or reinstall failed with same error - I uninstalled, wiped the gbpvr dir and shutdown the PC. Still no luck.

Please let me know if you need my h/w details.
