I did a search to see whether or not the PVR 500 is supported by GB PVR and couldn't find any info. Does anyone know if it is or not. I was going to buy the PVR 250 but for another $20.00 I bought the PVR 500 not thinking if it would be supported or not.
I also got the mediamvp for $99.99 with a $20.00 rebate from circuit city if anyone is interested. And as long as we are on the subject I don't think I've seen anything to the subject of having multiple mediamvp's on a network. Is it possible to have three tv's with a mediamvp connected to each and only one machine (with my pvr 500 provided I didn't screw up and it is supported) running GB PVR?
Is it possible for the TV Guide to display *both* the channel numbers and the channel name/number? When I enable icons with the standard blue skin it seems that the TV Guide replaces the channel name/number with the icon instead of simply augmenting the display.
Please forgive me if this question has been asked before. I tried searching but I didn't notice an answer.
I now have 5 capture sources but when I bring up the systray Recording Status box I have only 4 listed - the bottom of the four has an expanded area where 5 should be but its just a grey area with no text.
Capture Source #5 is working (well, 'something' is recording something at the moment) but #1 -#4 show sleeping.
New features:
AdjustStartTime, AdjustEndTime - The Lost/West Wing problem (damn J.J. ending lost at 9:01)
Multiple Caputure sources.
This is a work in progress... this is a very difficult process. There are tons of features therefor complexities and points of failure.
I need help to debug this. It works great for me and the severl test that I have done. But i'm limited in my time and resources. I need a non-us guy and a few others.
My top 3 goals:
1. Simplfy that creation of the XML file (with the help of Jorm in Xrecord). I would like to have an easy to use version and a advanced version. The goal of the easy to version is for it to be as easy to do use as the base scheduler.
2. Fix any bugs that you might have. Please help me. All I ask is for you to run the scheduler based on your preferences. If you hit a bug, give me you priorityrecording.xml file and log. If need be I might ask you to post you DB to my FTP server.
3. Better and more detail in the log. Sorry, I did not have the time to put the extra search information in the log.
Sub, I have a PVR150 and have a Sky NZ Motorola decoder. I can't seem to find a code that will work with the IR Blaster. I have tried running through them all. Do you have any suggestions? Also, just a note for other PVR150 users, I had to grind out a little of my case by the slot for my PVR150 card as the IR blaster plug wasn't going in all the way. Now it is fine, but I just need the right code! I hope the Motorola decoder (older type with the Sky card that slots into the side of the case)
Re-hashing the problem from the old conflict bug, which is as follows (in a nutshell):
Manually update the EPG in the config, conflicts show up (which also re-starts the recording service).
Let GB-PVR do it iself in the 3-4AM update, the conflicts never show up.
This is with the Zap2It configuration not XMLTV.
Now I've stumbled on a NEW conflict bug.
You have a program that conflicts with a season record program. You cancel the season record for that program. The conflict still remains in the conflict list, but when you choose "resolve" there's nothing TO resolve, and your only option is "make no changes leave conflict in place". Updating the EPG manually DOES NOT fix this problem!!
One of our TV channels recently changed their name, and as such it threw the TV listings off (there's no more listings for the channel that "doesn't exist" anymore). I deleted the recording source and am attempting to set it up again, after I do this all my recordings are GONE! I have a backup of my MDB from the 14th, but that just puts back the wrong channel again. Is there a way I can fix this channel or am I screwed?
