When is the information in the miniguide updatet ?
When i watch liveTV and press the miniguide key the information is old. When i press the OK key and again press the miniguide, then the information is updated.
Yesterday i also observed that even going in to liveTV does not update the miniguide. It was showing information from the day before, and the time was nearly the same as the day before so i did not at first realise that it was yesterdays program.
I can see that it would slow down the system i you update the miniguide all the time, but at some places like entering liveTV would be nice.
I had a scheduled recorded happily recording away. I went into GBPVR and set a new manual record event for later (after the scheduled record was to have stopped). When I pressed the record button, I saw my USB-UIRT flash and my schduled event that was recording erased what had been already recorded and continued to record from that point onward. Looks like the manual event reset my scheduled event.
Im am using GPpvr with a PVR350 tuner and video out. i want to add another tuner card and was just wandering if i could use a PVR250 as the tuner number to ?
If i can use to difrent tuner cards, can i then get the first recording to pic the PVR250, so liveTV can use the PVR350 with video out ?
Is it working well with two tuners ?
I was watching LiveTV on a MVP. There was a recording scheduled to start at 7:00PM. (I have two tuners configured in GBPVR, both have the same EPG.) LiveTV just stopped by it's self. I looked at the time and it was 7:00PM. I had started watching the channel from the TV guide. So when it stopped it went back to the "Exit,Record,Rec Season, Watch" menu. I tried to move up to the "Exit" button, but as soon as I pressed the up button on the remote, it went back to the Main Menu. I then checked the recordings menu and the 7:00 PM recording was recording.
Two things were odd. First, with two tuners it seems like it could have started the 7:00 PM recording without stopping the LiveTV. Second, when I pressed up instead of moving up in the menu , it went back to the main menu.
I am about to buy a DVB-t card and I was wondering if there is any plans for supporting it in GBPVR, e.g beeing able to change channels through GBPVR and avoiding double encoding (if you would connect the two cards via s-video out on the DVB-card and s-video in on my Hauppauge 350).
Anyway I don´t have enough info on the subject to spend a lot of money on a DVB-card (and a cardreader on top of that) so if anybody have info and/or a similar experience to share it would be great.
I had som scheduled recordings, and add an rec season. Then i Deleted som of the scheduled recordings as it was repeats. I then also decided to delete the record season parameter and now it deleted all my scheduled recordings, also other programs and from other channels.
Has anyone had this experient too ?
The problem I encounter is that after starting gbpvr, the output on my pvr 350 is ok, but when I enter Live TV Mode, change the channel 2 or 3 times, the program doesnt respond anymore.
Windows also hangs and I can only reset the machine.
I Installed gbpvr and the card on 2 different machines, and I get the same effect on both.
I use gbpvr 0.13 with PVR350 under WinXP SP1 (german) with .NET installed. PVR Drivers are 1.80.
In the support forum I read about someone who had a similar problem, but who got an error message then.
I am not very familiar with .PLS files or URL's for internet radio stations. I have tried to use the .PLS files in the Net Radio folder as examples put I can't get any of the other URLs that I have tried to work. GBPVR gives a error that says something like unable to connect, try again later. Sub, could you tell us what GBPVR is expecting in the PLS file. I'm trying to located a News/Talk station in the US.
Would it be possible to make the audio out for Music from the Music library and the Net Radio output throught the PVR-350 audio out to avoid the need for multipple audio outs from your PC.
Also, I found one possible problem with the Record Season selection. If you select a program that repeats at different times of the day, all of the programs will be recorded, even the repeats. Would it be possible to make different selections like, "Weakly or Daily in this time slot", "Every instance of this show" "One time only".
