As i can't get reliable playback with the OSD on the PVR 350 card, I am considering adding the Sigma card to my rig.

can you give me a run down of how well this card is working with GBPVR ??
I know there have been a number of issues with the operation of the 350 card & the OSD ( with GB PVR & Sage ) So i think there may be a fundamental HW issue there.. )

Hey All,

I have a basic email plugin writen for getting pop3 mail. Its very basic at the minute but I want to write it in a way so that people can simply get their email, read the contents and view images. Other attachments could be viewed dependent upon other plugins available.

I'm thinking of showing who its from and the subject line. The body of the message will be shown and the user will have the option of viewing image attachments if they exist.

Once I get it that far I'll send out a pointer to dll and src code.

I recorded a 1 hr show last night and this morning when I checked it, the OSD reported the length to be 00:01:50. The recorded file is actually the full hour long. I also recorded a 30 minute show last night and its' length was reported at 00:31:56. This should be correct since the pre and post padding are both set to 1 min. The other thing that may or maynot mean anything is that I have my recording quality set to 1.8GB/Hr because I'm using a wireless MVP, but the 1 hr recording was only 1,363,000 KBs in size.

The problem with the incorrect length is that if you try to skip forward and go past the 00:01:50 time, the playback stops and sometimes the client hangs. I was using rel 16 for both the recordings and playback tests. I know in the past you said you were having trouble calculating or reading time stamps, so I didn't know if you had fixed anything or not in rel 16.

First of all, thanks for all your hard work.

I searched the forum and noticed that this has been dealt with before, but I don't know what the current state is. I have two PVR-250s in my system and last night I tried the following:

I scheduled a recording of channel A from 22:00 - 22:30, and a recording of channel B from 22:10 - 22.20. When I checked afterwards I found two recordings available: one of channel A from about 22:00 - 22.10, and another one also of channel A (and not B) from about 22:10 - 22.20.

Please let me know if you need more info to fix this.

When clicking on TV Guide from the main menu, I get this error poping up in a dialog box inside GBPVR:

First, after searching high and low, I came across GBPVR. I love it. It's the only software that supported my Adaptec VideOH USB device. I'm very happy so far. Keep up the good work. I'm amazed that one person was capable of putting this together.

I've been using GBPVR since version 13? Installed every update. I've had small problems, but always found a fix. I currently have a problem with v16. I can playback recorded videos....no problem(fullscreen). But, when I open a recording from my video library, I get a window on top of my GBPVR Video Library menu. Maybe 85% percent of the screen. I cannot close the window. I can stop the video, but the window remains(black). I've tried using both the default software decoder and the Cyberlink codec. Same problem with both. It never occured until I installed v16 and all of the mpeg's were recorded in previous versions of GBPVR. Overlay Manager only. 'Show in window mode' is off. Any ideas?

Another small issue. I have to run the Configuration before starting GBPVR to get my Adaptec to work. If I run GBPVR after a reboot, I'll get an error every time. Anyone seen this?

See this (go to the Bass area) sub (and others)?  Lightweight DLL that can play shoutcast as well as MP3, OGG, and apparently CD audio (including ripping) too.

By means of a addon, you can use this from C# as well.

Very lightweight and looks very cool.  I tried their shoutcast example and it seems to work fine.  Fun toy to play with

I have deleted most of the default ones and added my own. Could we have a seperate download of the default net radio station files rather than having to go in and delete files after every update?
