v0.12 available for download
Posted by: sub - 2004-02-04, 12:40 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (11)

By popular demand I've uploaded a version which should address the blocky font with the MVP client. You can download it from http://www.gbpvr.com/Setup012a.exe

From the release notes:
- Fixed blocky font appearance on MVP
- Fixed the MVPOffsetY which wasn't working in the last release.
- Now gracefully handling the MVP disconnect/reconnect/poweroff/poweron etc.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
 <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.[/QUOTE]

 Adaptec Videoh! USB 2210
Posted by: mcragoe - 2004-02-03, 10:59 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (23)

Hi Sub,

Are there any plans to add support for thee Adaptec Videoh! USB card? (2210) It seems like nobody has added support for this capture device. It does a great job with MyDVD, but I would like to use it with other software that I can set a recording time up.

Thanks for your help,
Mike

As ananova's gone and rt is short on details is it possible to support digiguide?

If not directly then possibly support external inputs to programme the scheduler?

 New Channel Icons
Posted by: dekkeh - 2004-02-02, 05:53 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

Hi,

Is it possible to add more channel icons to the icon-folder, and how do I associate them with specific channels?

If this works, I'll make some icons for Dutch channels and upload them.

I'm getting my PVR-350 next week, so I haven't been able to try GB-PVR with actual TV, but so far it looks good.

Suppport for ATI tweaked Cyberlink decoders
Posted by: msm - 2004-02-02, 02:51 PM - Forum: Wishlist - No Replies

Would it be possible to add support for the ATI tweaked cyberlink decoders. These decoders give the best picture on my system, and currently are the only ones i have installed. Don't know if it will help but the pin settings are:

FORMAT
FilterName1,InputPinName1,OutputPinName1

Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder (ATI),Video In,Video Out
Cyberlink Audio Decoder (ATI),Audio In,Audio Out

Here hoping [Image: smile.gif]

On another note, i am having problems connecting to the recording service. I can get the service running, but no joy with live TV. I will produce a log and send it to you,

Matt

 v0.11 available for download
Posted by: sub - 2004-02-01, 07:00 PM - Forum: NextPVR Announcements - Replies (23)

I've just uploaded v0.11 for anyone that wants to give it a go. You can download it from http://www.gbpvr.com/Setup011.exe

The main feature of this release is that the MediaMVP support should now be working for everyone. Unfortunately no ffw/rrw at the moment while I work through a couple issues. I didn't want to hold up the release any longer. This should be corrected in the next release.

2003-2-1 v0.11
- Removed dependency on installation into "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr"
- Changed the recording file name to be little more informative include date, start time, stop time e.g. Eastenders_20040122_2000_2100.mpg.
- Reoccuring manual recordings (weekly, week days, week ends etc).
- Added 'Record Season' option to TV guide. This will automatically schedule to record all programs on the selected channel with the same name, until you ask it to stop. I'll add more options to this in the future.
- More descriptive popups for the manual recordings in the recording menu.
- Added Finland to the list of countries available in the Direct Recording configuration.
- Reloading file list each time you go to the Music and Video screens.
- Should now support other mpeg hardware capture cards. You'll need to add a section for the filter and pin names to direct.ini. If you get another card up and going, send my the .ini settings so I can include them in subsequent release (for others to use).
- Fixed a bug where second song in play list was skipped.
- Fixed a bug with manual recordings where end time should roll over onto the next day
- Mostly functional MVP support. Still a few things not working properly (ffw/rrw/skip etc), but I didn't wont to hold up the release any longer.
- MVP screen size can be changed using settings in the config.xml - MVPWidth/MVPHeight/MVPOffsetX/MVPOffsetY

PS, you'll need to uninstall any previous version you have installed.

 Latest issues with 010
Posted by: MaBo - 2004-01-30, 08:14 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Hi Sub,

I have some old and new issues with release 010:
The problem of black screen/no audio occurred again (see this thread). And again after about 23 minutes of playback. This time the delay was not more than an hour, but some 10 minutes. The filesize was 962610KB, so far below any 2 or 4GB limits (but it's on an NTFS disk anyway). Did you already find something that can cause this?

Another, less important thing: when playing a .m3u file, the second item is not played. gbpvr skips from 1 to 3. With the skip back button the second item can be played! This occured with several playlist files!

Oh, and I've changed the shutdown process:
I've created two custom tasks:
Off! shutdown -s -t 50 -c "Shutdown in progress. To abort select NotOff."
NotOff shutdown -a
These can be selected from the main menu. Works neat. But does GBPVR like this?

I'm off installing the new hauppauge beta driverset.

Greetings,
MaBo
