Skip button not working on MVP
Posted by: FoxMan71 - 2004-03-17, 12:29 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

I don't know if anyone else is having problems with the skip button on the MVP. On version 013 I could press the skip button and it would do nothing. When pessing the skip button on version 014 it locks up the mvp server. I'm using the lastest hauppauge software.

  Deleteing

I am sorry if I am sounding like a wind bag for all these postings but as I am using your wonderful creation I just keep getting ideas for improvment. For when we delete recordings could you add an option that will allow us to phisically delete them from our hard drives.

  Menu Manuvering
Posted by: RockTheThird - 2004-03-16, 11:30 PM - Forum: Wishlist - No Replies

First I have to appologize for my horrible spelling!

But I had a great idea for the menus, when at the top or bottom of a menu make it possible to jump to the bottom or top.

I'll explain, when at the top selection pressing up jumps to the bottom selection. And in reverse when at the bottom pressing down jumps you to the top selection.

By the way you are doing great sub.

  Install over a previous version
Posted by: ibweasel - 2004-03-16, 10:14 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (6)

I made the mistake of doing an uninstall first and then re-installing. That killed all my seetings [Image: sad.gif] What is the proper method? Modify or repair? My guess is modify, but I'll let the experts tell me.

Thanks,
Paul

  wont't save capture source

Hi Sub,

Just to let you know that it won't save the capture source if you have a ' in the capture source name, there maybe other characters but I haven't checked.

  [OT] Radio
Posted by: dageshi - 2004-03-16, 08:53 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

Does anyone know of any software that will record radio from the pvr350, the software that comes from hauppage doesn't actually seem to record, just playback, which is really crap.

Does anyone know of any software that will support it? or know where I can get some hauppage sdk's from so I can write it? [Image: smile.gif]

Are you artistically challanged like me?
Posted by: sub - 2004-03-16, 05:51 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

If you've looked at the front page for GB-PVR you've probably realised that websites arn't my forte. If anyone has prior experience with this kind of thing and are pretty good at it, I'd appreciate the help.

I'm only after a relatively small website with three or four pages, but I want it to look really cool. I think a big part of this is a good colour scheme and logo. If you've got any ideas flick me an email.

  VMR9 not available anymore
Posted by: box177 - 2004-03-16, 01:07 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (7)

Sub,

I've preferred create another topic to avoid overloading announcement topic about v0.14.

When I select VMR9 and I try to start v0.14, I get the following message :

"This system does not appear to support VMR9. Please try a different renderer."

With previous versions, I was using it without any question.

OS : Windows XP SP1 with all patches
GPU : GeForce 4 MX (IGP on nVidia nForce 2 chipset) with lastest drivers (56.64) and WinTV-PVR350.

Thanks.

  MVP functionality
Posted by: Paulp33 - 2004-03-15, 11:09 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Does GBPVR replace the basic functions of the MVP or just provide a different interface with the same functionality underneath? ie can GBPVR (if the programmers so desire) do things like change the skip length or provide different RW/FW speeds to those provided by hauppauges software?
