The problem I encounter is that after starting gbpvr, the output on my pvr 350 is ok, but when I enter Live TV Mode, change the channel 2 or 3 times, the program doesnt respond anymore.
Windows also hangs and I can only reset the machine.

I Installed gbpvr and the card on 2 different machines, and I get the same effect on both.

I use gbpvr 0.13 with PVR350 under WinXP SP1 (german) with .NET installed. PVR Drivers are 1.80.

In the support forum I read about someone who had a similar problem, but who got an error message then.

I am not very familiar with .PLS files or URL's for internet radio stations. I have tried to use the .PLS files in the Net Radio folder as examples put I can't get any of the other URLs that I have tried to work. GBPVR gives a error that says something like unable to connect, try again later. Sub, could you tell us what GBPVR is expecting in the PLS file. I'm trying to located a News/Talk station in the US.

Would it be possible to make the audio out for Music from the Music library and the Net Radio output throught the PVR-350 audio out to avoid the need for multipple audio outs from your PC.
Also, I found one possible problem with the Record Season selection. If you select a program that repeats at different times of the day, all of the programs will be recorded, even the repeats. Would it be possible to make different selections like, "Weakly or Daily in this time slot", "Every instance of this show" "One time only".

I'm having problems with fast forward and rewind when watching recorded programs (I'm not talking about live TV). In v0.12 I used to be able to hold down the fast foward button on the haupauge remote and it would play the video fairly cleanly at about double speed (which was really nice). I've gone to v0.13 and this does not work anymore, I get about two frames of video and then it reverts back to playing. The next time I press it, it seems to do nothing. Note that pressing the skip button works well, skipping 1 second at a time.

If I try to fast forward by bringing up the OSD and selecting the >> button, the time bar fast forwards but I dont see the video updating on the screen until I press play again. Is this how this is meant to work.

I wondered if this all works for anyone else or if some change was made in v0.13 which would have stopped it working.

I thought it might just be down to slow response to the remote control and I've tried it with and without IR Remote running and this seems to make no difference.

I've using the TV out on the PVR 350, so I don't think it can be to do with the codec selected (he default hauppage one).

I'm really just trying to find out whether I've got a particular problem or whether this functionality is not yet finish and I just need to be patient.

Could anyone tell me what the Record Season option does in the TV guide. I imagine it is there so that you can record all the episodes of a program but I mean how does it actually work.

Does it just record the same time on the same day every week or does it reocrd everything with the same title in the schedule or something else?

Ok, I have the XML TV file in a folder and GBPVR pointing to the file. If the file gets updated (once a day), does GBPVR automatically pick up the changes?

1. When I am in LiveTV mode, how do I pause/FF/RWD using the keyboard?
2. Are the LiveTV files supposed to be cleaned up when you change channels or exit?
3. Is the functionality for the HP remote built into GBPVR? I am using a USBUIRT and would like to use the HP remote to work GBPVR and the USBUIRT to tune channels.

It would be nice to be able to scroll to the next day easily in the guide. If it's Monday and I want to record something on Friday, it's a real pain today.

I have now several times observed that the recording service did not record a scheduled program.
Once I looked if the service was startet and it was. When I looked in recordings it still was listed as scheduled.
So for some reasen the recording service was not responding. When I closed the GBpvr program and restarted the recording service, and then opened the GBpvr again, then the program was listed as failed under recordings.
I think if i restarted the recording service before I went to bed, it would have been working. I think the problem emerged while some freezing or funny things in GBpvr.
Could it be at good idea if you implemented a heartbeat funktion in the recording server, and the Gbpvr program listened after the heartbeat. If no heartbeat, then make a pop up on the screen and maybe restart the recording service ?
I think it is very important that no recordings are missed, so it would be very nice with some checking.

PS: I give you a donation when the program is stable :-)

Does anybody know what the function of the red button (of the hauppauge PVR-350 remote) should be when the mini guide is active ?

With me it totally crashes the pc I assume this is not its desired function
