When viewing a recorded mpeg or live TV the 350 display hangs and the app crashes within 2 -3 sec of starting a recording or live TV (navigating, using the program guide, playing music etc arefine). Â When it hangs, the TV display is frozen and I am getting a succession of error messages (10??) on the PC (I saved screenies of the messages) on the PC monitor. Â At that point I have to kill the app via task manager and the 350's frozen display stays until I reboot. Â I then get an error message on the app's window on the PC and get an .Net error message (C&P below).
If I can provide further info (like the screenies of the error messages) or anything else let me know.

I have a few more wishes.
1. Autoupdate xml file via a batch file (so that you can collect xml data via xmlTV or other program at night).
2. Being able to delete recorded programs. Now I can only remove it from the records list. But it is then still on the harddisk.
3. Different quality settings. Right now it is en plain MPG in DVD quality. Nice, but some TV shows should be fine in D1.
4. Be able to browse for movie files (I already said that previously)
5. GBPVR can play MPEG files, and ripped DVDs. But why not reading straight from a DVD? Read from the IFO and then show it on the PVR 350 TV-out. (you could request that some region free program has to run on the background). Oh if winDVD could do it....
5. Make GBPVR the program that can also execute other programs and allowing to use the Hauppauge Remote to control that said program. I would suggest that a menu item is added to the main menu called other programs, and you find then a program name e.g. WinDVD. The moment that such 3rd party program is selected, GBPVR uses for the remote an special .ini file that translates the Hauppauge remote commands into the keyboard shortcuts (you can set it up in the config). Pressing power off returns to the GBPVR and the special .ini is not used.
In capture source I have
country = sweden
card#1
composite2,external tuner
then press add I can select channel name and channel number
what should I select ?
If I select channel numb =1
and start LIVE TV
it fail to communicate with GB PVR recording service.....
The service is upp and running and reboot do not help me
I am logged on as administrator in XP pro  english version
Iam using a PVR 350 card
Is it possible to install both a WinTV PVR-250 and a WinTV PVR-350 in a PC and use them both with GB-PVR for recording?
I seem to recall hearing that there were compatability issues with using the different cards at the same time because of differing chipsets. Â Does anyone have any experience with this?
I currently have a PVR-350 and am considering adding a PVR-250 to the box in order to increase my recording flexibility (since it's cheaper than the 350).
Excuse me for stating the obvious but some additional documentation would be nice. The quick-start, etc. links on the gbpvr.com page are a very good start.
In particular, I would like to see all of the keyboard shortcuts and Hauppauge remote control keys listed out someplace. I've picked-up a few of them browsing this forum but have not seen them listed anyplace else.
It would be nice to be able to control the sort order of files displayed (in the video library, for example). The ability to toggle among name, ascending date and descending date sorts would be useful.
Forgive me if this feature is already present. I've just began using the program and could not find it.
My first post! Â I love your app so far. Â Great work!
Hauppauge's software displays thumbnails of the first frame of MPEG-1 videos on their menu next to the title of the video file (though it cannot do so for MPEG-2 for some reason).
It would be nice to have this featrue on your video library screen. Â And one should be able to select whether or not the feature is enabled too, since it would consume considerable screen real estate.
I am NTSC so I am unaware of whether or not you have this feature via your MediaMVP server. But I am suggesting the feature for PVR-350 video out as well.
... for the international users, it would be very nice, with some sort of language mapping (XML, f.ex.)
I would gladly deliver the danish translations...

... in realtime.
Wouldn't it be cool to be able to finetune a channel while watching it in real time. Maybe it isn't possible due to the way the TV-tuner is initialized. But then I'd figure it would be impossible to make a piece of PVR-software utilizing OSD on the PVR-350 TV-OUT, this fast too Good job, sub!
Anyway, a means of changing the values of the frequency-table in the registry from inside the program (not neccessarily in realtime) would be very nice.
