Good day...Is there a way to eliminate the channel logo display from the guide and also a way to control the font size of the channel name displayed? I seem to recall I might have edit a config file when I was creating my own channel logos but can't remember the exact file. Go figure, now I don't want any channel logos at all to create more space for the channel name. I will poke around in the meantime to see if I can find my notes. Thanks in advance...cheers!
I have a consistent issue watching live tv from iptv source (.ts). After about 1 minute, the video freezes, and the audio restarts to the beginning of the feed (back 1 minute). It is not the feed because if I immediately switch to a different standalone app, this doesn't happen.
Recordings also do not record this way, and playback of recordings is also fine.
Ethernet connected.
Direct Play enabled.
Device is h96 Pro Plus (8-core, 3GB).
Not sure if itâs something the app can drive, but while watching the Elton John special it would be cool if the Apple TV could airplay to some other speakers I have available via airplay.
I'm running Kodi 17.6 on a Raspberry Pi with the NextPVR server running on a Windows 10 desktop computer.
I've been having problems with live TV programs sporadically freezing on the RPi.

Please note that both the audio and video streams are frozen (paused).
I immediately saved the NextPVR logs using the zip file logs function and the Kodi log for your inspection.
I hope someone can be figure out what's causing this problem and come up with a solution.
I want to start by saying I suspect my problem might be related to switching hardware tuners, but I'm not sure how to fix it.
On the old tuner I had a recording set up for a specific program and channel.
Now on the new tuner I still see the program listed in Recurring Recordings. And if I click on the program in that screen, and click Find All, it shows two time slots.
However, when I look at Pending Recordings, the program is not listed! I've tried all kinds of resets and rescans and restarts, but nothing helps. The program never gets added.
I'm guessing for some reason the channel on the new tuner is different somehow, but I can't figure out how to update the channel, or even to cancel the recurring program!
If you look at the log files, the program is 'Vera' and I added the show for tonight using Quick Record so I wouldn't miss it.
Good day...On a new build with the latest NPVR installed and SD as my EPG provider I am getting the ole "No Show Detail" across all IPTV (Vaders) channels. The OTA channels are populated correctly and work just fine so I pulled out all the OTA channels to see if that would help the IPTV issue. No joy. I went to the Vaders website and logged in and found that their TV guide is no longer working as well. Not sure if this is part of the issue but their is not working.
During setup of the IPTV device both the channel list and XMLTV URL's had to be modified in order to work. Using the original http://vaders.tv/p2.xml gets a zero content file while using http://vaders.tv/p2.xml.gz gets a compressed file that when extracted gets me a valid xml file. Unfortunately, the xml file resides in the local environment so I don't think it will get updated automatically. I have also used the nshared.dll fix from 12/04/2018. My logs are attached so hopefully you can assist. However, to me this looks like a Vaders side issue but not sure. Thanks and cheers.
I have been using NextPVR for some time, and it has worked beautifully. For various reasons, though, I did a total system rebuild -- new computer, new TV. I did put the old disk containing my recordings into the new computer and loaded both a new version of Windows 10 and the current version of NPVR. I'd recorded a lot of programs on the old system that I would like to access, but NextPVR doesn't see them. It does see programs that are recorded under the new system, so I believe that it's working.
My question is -- how do I import the programs recorded under the old system into the database built for the new system? They are in subdirectories in the D:\TVFiles directory, with the subdirectory names those of the programs being recorded.
Good day...When I install NPVR version 4.2.3.181112, upon its completed install and initial launch I get a popup that says there is a newer version available. Is this an error or just something that comes up no matter what? Also, I have been reading around this forum and apparently there is also a beta 5 version out for testing. Is this available. Cheers!
Good Day...until recently I was able to start/stop the recording service by either the start menu items or going to the services app. Now I cannot stop the recording service at all even if I disable it in the services app. Any ideas? Thanks and cheers!
I have been using Vader IPTV for a while working fine. Then this week the EPG stopped. I saw they posted a message that they had done some updating to the EPG.
I have also downloaded the P2.XML and looked at it and it appears some of the data may not be understood by NPVR import.
I am getting the following error trying to update EPG.
