Has anyone figured out a way to display Series Premieres using Schedules Direct?
When I was still using Microsoft's EPG, I ran a routine on the XMLTV file to convert the "premiere" flag to a category, thereby enabling TV Listings to sort out those shows.
It doesn't appear to me that Schedules Direct sets a "premiere" flag for new series.
I am aware there is a "IsPremiereOrFinale" tag in Schedues Direct, but MC2XML doesn't presently look for that field.
Hello, I recently made the plunge to Windows 10. I have everything installed, channels setup and guide data working, but when I try to watch live TV, I get no picture on cable channels. Broadcast channels like NBC, ABC work great, but channels like TBS, HGTV will not display. I tried both SAF (version 5.02 since the new versions no longer have FFDShow)and Sharks codec packs, but still nothing. In the attached logs, I first tuned CBS (402) which worked perfectly, then changed to TBSHD (413) and no picture. The weird thing is that sometimes it displays and most times it doesn't. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
I have a cable box but if I scan with that connected I only get 1 analog channel 3 or 4. If I bypass the box I find many unknown physical QAM channels ie "Unknown 67.1" which is actually Cartoon Network. With Windows Media Center I used to be able to manually assign to each of these physical channels to their real name and also assign the correct listings. It worked just fine for me. Is there a way to do this with NextPVR ?
Would it be possible to match a channels SID to it's designated channel number from a master spreadsheet?
If I was to keep a master spreadsheet of channels we have (28.2E, 19.2E, 13E and maybe soon a DVB-C), would it be possible to build a feature whereby when I update, I can just lookup the SID against an XLS, or CSV, and NextPVR would assign the channel number and maybe Channel Nane?
I have an old (2009) HP all in one computer system that was designed to record t.v....
Only I'm not recording t.v. I'm sliding a computer into that svideo connection and I just want to display what's coming through this computer's svideo connection.....
i downloaded and extracted the needed componets but it's still not giving me any luck.
the svideo connection is part of an All In One HP computer... it's a large screen all in one set up which has an onboard grafix capture device.
i can get windows media center to read the svideo just fine, but only in the diagnostics, when i try to accept that it takes me to a screen that needs to verifiy some sort of IR box which i don't have because i'm not setting up a tv i'm just trying to listen to my svideo in >.<
Hi I am missing several (although not all) HD DVB-T2 channels broadcasting on the UK Pontop Pike transmitter. I have read some forum posts with varying advice - and they all seem to get lost in debates about signal strength, splitters and so on. However this makes no sense to me, as Windows Media Centre picks these channels up without difficulty, as does MediaPortal, as does my TV's native tuner. Neither of these are workable for me, as first my reliance on WMC is preventing me from upgrading to Windows 10 and second MediaPortal is just not as good/fast as NPVR.
I have checked the box that says 'scan for offsets' and have attached all logs as advised.
Not being able to map an ftp drive from my android box means I can not watch what was recorded there. My windows machine is perfect. Both the android and windows machines are running kodi 15. This allows both to record but only the android box can see all the recordings (back end NextPVR). I can see the ftp drive in kodi but not under recorded tv shows due to the fact that windows wont map an ftp drive. Is there a way to add an ftp drive to the recording locations on NextPVR? This would then work like a homogeneous system.
I ran into an issue after a Win10 Upgrade was pushed to my NextPVR server today... Hopefully this may help others who may experience this problem.
I noticed tonight, all my RaspPI clients could not access the shares on my NextPVR (Win10) server. After some troubleshooting, I discovered that the upgrade disabled my Guest account (which was used by the RaspPI clients to connect). I had to re-enable the Guest account, then all clients were able to function properly again...
To re-enable, I followed the instructions found here. I used the group policy editor (under Way 2). Once re-enabled all was well again.
Hardware is listed in my signature. Recently upgraded from Win7 to 10 and things have gone pretty smoothly.
The Hiccup I am having is that it takes a long time for a recording to start playing. 3-6 seconds and before it was instant. I'm using unlocked saf which is what i was using before. Also seems to freeze at some commercial breaks (requires a stop/resume to get going again) and the skipping seems to be spotty.
Logs are zipped and attached, any help would be appreciate, thank you!
Video drivers are current.
I am running the latest version of NPVR
I also updated the Silicon Dust tuner when I installed win10.
