I can play some .mov files, but when i try and play the files that i have downloaded with the trailor plugin, GBPVR crashes.

Any ideas?

From memory, .mov files are just a container like .avi files. Inside these files lots of different encoding formats can be used. Its most likely you dont have a directshow decoder installed that can play this type of encoding.

Can you play the same file in Windows Media Player?

If you can get it to run in Windows Media Player, then it'll also work in GB-PVR. Both are Directshow applications.

As I said above, I dont use .mov files so I'm not really able to provide you any useful information on playing these types of files. If you can get it working in Windows Media Player, then it'll also work in GB-PVR.

You could try QuickTime Alternative that comes a directshow filter.
