I think Hauppauge didn't have a choise but to give one PVR350 card. It's all about marketing and PR they make a lot of money on GBPVR. Since the 0.12verison? of GBPVR I have been recomending GBPVR to everybody that I know and don't know. And at least one has bought an 350 card just to use GBPVR. I think Hauppauge should supply you whit all of there cards for free (even other brands), since you do there work for free (at the time). Your software is much better then WINTV, so on the bundle disc they sould have GBPVR insted of WINTV (my opinion). Keep up the good work SUB, and congratulasions to your new card, you have earn that card 20 times over.
Cheers /Jonas

My new card arrived today, and seems to be working well. You're right that GB-PVR provides another good reason for people to buy the Hauppauge products, but I'm still very thankful that they could help me out on this. Their products arn't really sold here in New Zealand, and the only place I could find that imports and sells them were asking the equivalent of about USD$550 - ouch!

Thanks again Hauppauge. This replacement card is much appreciated.

PS, you know the address if you feel like sending me a DVB-S card. Just kidding. [Image: tounge.gif]

if this would speed up the dvb integration in gbpvr i would click the donate button again.
Just not kidding

by the way, some dvb skilled people told me that "technotrend" cards are based on the same chip which is used on the nexus-s. In fact the technotrend company is the developer of this chipset.
Nice side effect: technotrend sells the cheaper cards....

I just wanted to echo the sentiments expressed by Kevlar_IIA. GBPVR is stunning. It puts the hauppauge software in the shade. Hauppauge are lucky to have people like sub and the plugin developers promoting their products in this way. Congrats SUB you're doing an amzing job.

P.S. of course you realise now that subsequent posts of mine will be moaning about bugs or new fetaures requests so please remember the glowing praise above.
