Hello,

I wonder if any of you have seen this. Ever since I upgraded to 0.94.13, the green cursor of the TV Guide is hardly ever seen, rendering the guide almost useless. I mean - when I use the arrow keys, the guide moves as expected (if there are 4 programs across, then pressing right 4 times causes it to scroll, etc), but the cursor is not seen.

I have noticed that if I press down, then for some channels the green cursor did appear and if I scrolled to the right, and then went up one channel (to a channel that did not show cursor) the cursor would still be visible. But exiting to menu and then back into the guide and the cursor does not appear again.

At first I thought this was a problem in the installation, and rebuilt the capture sources from scratch. This appeared (I emphasize - appeared only) to have made things better, but I guess my checks were not very thorough.
I then found out a problem with my grabber, so I fixed it and waited 1 week for all programs to be replaced, but still no good.

I tried to empty the guide and reload programs - also no good.

I must add that I installed the VA plugin and do not use it, in fact (except that it changed the panel, and the panel shows wrong channel icons most of the time, but that's a different problem, I think).

Help anyone?

Thanks,
GGF

I encountered this before, and did what you did, removed and installed capture sources, then emptied and updated epg. As far as I can tell the database holding all the schedule was all messed up. Then I noticed that multiple entries for some programs have multiplied, you'll notice this when you move and the cursor disappears, the program description does not change to your expected position.

Anyway, I just waited out that week and when I loaded the following weeks schedule, everything was back to normal.

But you may try this, on command line :

"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVR.exe" -onlyemptyepg

then follow it with

"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVR.exe" -onlyupdateepg

This should preserve your scheduled recordings as well

Hope this helps
