SBE stands for Stream Buffer Engine. It is a Microsoft technology that allows for seeking and pausing in a live video stream. Here is a link to a page at Microsoft that talks about it.

Unfortunately I have no idea if it is supported on a PVR 350. I have a PVR 250 and I am using DVI out to my HDTV.

ok i was just playing around with it, turned tvout off on pvr350 card, and i couldnt believe the improvements in gbpvr, channel changing a lot quicker, pause rewind/ff. ive decided to screw the tvout on 350 for now, until (if ever) it performs just aswell as normal tvout on crappy radeon ve tv out.

only probably is the gbpvr window size/location whenever gbpvr starts up, i have to resize it everytime so the in fills the screen, using overscan on tvout so fullscreen screws it up, but i can resize the window so it appears fullscreen on the tv but still in window mode. my request to you sub is to add four extra lines in the config.xml which contain xpos, ypos, width and height (already added this to wishlist). it would be extremely easy to implement, and probably take about 5 mins of your time, i know your busy but it would be gratefully appreciated. so sub what do you say? (other wise i have to go hunting for a program to do this, i found one but i have to pay for it [Image: sad.gif], and alas im a student and am poor. could always write one i guess)

A lot of people swear by the ndvd and sonic ones. To my eyes none of them look as good as the PVR350 or XCard. Yes, I know - this whole PVR business seems to be full compromises (you're damned if you do, you're damned if you dont).
