I've searched around and haven't really found a good explanation of how these work together. I've gotten them to work but it seems to be hit and miss.

Isn't there a better way to get them to work other than starting MVP and when it brings up menu, put it to sleep, shut down Hauppauge server, Startup GBPVR media server and then wake up mediaMVP?

I have it working but I have two issues,

1. Placement of gbpvr skin is a little low on tv as view thru MediaMVP. I thought I found somewhere today a plugin to move screen output of mediaMVP but can't find it now.

2. Live tv is stuttering. More like starting and stopping. Plays for a seond or two then pauses for 2 seconds. What settings need to be changed in GBPVR config?

Thanks.

Every TV seems to display the picture in a different place. You'll probably need to tweak the MVP position settings in config.xml.

Maybe try increasing the mvp live tv pre-play delay.

If you're using a BDA device, it may be worth trying a different mux.

If you're using a wireless bridge with the MVP, consider a wired connection instead.

I'm using a wired connection, router to switch to MVP. I found out my problem turns out I had a bad switch. Changed out switch and lo and behold streaming video at the default 600ms. Now to tweak picture placement. Picture quality is excellent too. Thanks again.

There's lots of information in the Wiki, worth taking a look there.

I noticed a lot of collisions. Plus I've noticed in the past that the performance wasn't there.

changed it with another Netgear FS108 I had.
