Hi,
I've just bought and AVerMedia Hybrid and I'm having trouble getting GB-PVR to recognise it. From reading these forums I gather that it probably has a BDA compatible driver and I should be able to add and entry to the BDA.INI file to get it working. I tried copying and pasting the entry from the only other AVerMedia card in the original BDA.INI. I then modified it by giving it a friendly name in the first line, then typing in the exact name as it appears in Device Manager on the second line including the code in brackets at the end. But it doesn't work.
I can't find anywhere in the doco on the WIKI that shows how to do this, so I would appreciate some help.
1: How do I determine if the driver for my card is BDA compliant?
2: How do I ass the entry to the BDA.INI to get it working.
PS
The card is definitely **functional** because it works with the native SW.
I am running Windows XP SP2, .NET FX 1.1 SP1 and the latest Tuner card drivers from AVerMedia.
